  1. I had not seen these until I saw this post. Checked out the link and saw some really nice colors. Now I have to hide from the bait monkey.
  2. I got one several weeks ago. I didn't request it but I do like to check them out. @The Bassman is right . They don't give you all the specs and options anymore like they used to. You still have to go online to get more info.
  3. I really like Sufix Siege. I use 12# on baitcasters and 10# on spinning rods. I use floro for my t rigs and jigs but it wouldn't bother me to use mono for them.

  6. Our time was broken down. We got 12 vacation days, 3 PTO days, and 3 emergency days for funerals. We got paid when we had jury duty but you had to bring in a form signed by an official at the court house to prove you were there to get paid. When we got a lot of snow some would call in saying they were taking a sick day. That got stopped when they were told to bring in a signed note from the doctor. I always had a 4WD truck so I didn't have to worry about it.

  8. I never took a sick day to go fishing. I had to take a vacation day or a PTO day for that. Over the years several people were fired when they got caught misusing there sick time. I couldn't afford to take that chance.

  10. Check with Delaware Valley Tackle. I have heard a lot of good things about him on here. I don't know if he repaints reels but he can upgrade a lot parts if you that is what you want. He is a sponsor on this website.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
  13. I hope they bring them back. I would like to see them in the naturalized crappie color. I used to catch fish on that color when they wouldn't look at anything else.
  14. I also like the Zoom Baby Brush Hogs. I would also recommend Trick Worms, Dead ringer worms, and the Ultra Vibe Speed Craw. You will get many different answers since people like so many different baits. I don't drop shot enough to help you much with that.
  15. I also would like to see the Rebel Deep Wee R come back and the original Rapala Rattling Fat Rap. These were two of the best crankbaits I ever had years ago.
  16. Plano makes the hydro flo boxes loaded with small holes for air circulation. Anything I use fishing gets put in one of them to dry out before putting it back where I would normally keep it. I don't know if they make one set up for jig storage or not. I usually remove the trailers when I am done for the day.

The only yellow bait I can remember having was an old Shannon Twin Spin spinnerbait. My brother and I both had them. I did see him catch a few bass on his. I never even got a sniff with mine. I may still have it in an old tackle box around here somewhere.
  21. I have some of the old Zorro spinnerbaits. Caught a lot of fish on some that is very similar to the spot remover color in War Eagle. Also caught fish on a black and blue one in murky water. I think these have a #4 Colorado blade on them. I will use use them anytime but I think they are best slow rolling the earlier in the year while the water is still cool.
  22. With a price tag like that there is no danger of me ever buying one.
  23. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  24. Thanks for the info. I will check them out.
  25. I hate to ask a stupid question but what is a Yum Top Gun? I have looked on several websites including Yums and I can't find it listed anywhere.
