  1. Maybe you need to check out Glenns video on the top baits for fall fishing. They won't cost you that much and money left over take your girl friend out to dinner.
  2. I got in a similar situation several years ago. The motor quit while running down the lake. The motor would not do anything, the tilt and trim would not work, but everything else did work. After I got it home the only thing I did was clean the the battery terminals and connectors real good. To look at them you couldn't tell they needed cleaning. It has worked fine since then. I now clean them once a year.

    That makes two of us.
  4. Plumbing is easy. Hot is on the left. Cold is on the right. It won't run uphill and payday is Friday.
  5. For me it depends on the length of the senko. As a Texas rig on a 5" senko I use a 4/0 hook. On a 4" I use a 2/0 hook. On the rare times I fish them wacky I use a Gamakatsu 2/0 hook made for wacky rigging with a weed guard. I would be worried about getting hung up a lot using standard EWG hooks for wacky rigging.
  6. I have gotten a few bites on pink Trick Worms but have never caught a fish on one yet. I have also thrown a pink Super Fluke and not caught anything on it either.
  7. I have put oval split rings on some my baits but I still have plenty with standard split rings. I never worried about it as to where the knot was. I haven't lost any fish due to the split ring causing problems with the line.
  8. Thank You for the info.
  9. What size hook are you using? I have some shaky heads but I doubt if the hooks are big enough for these.
  10. I would still use size 3 Owner split rings.
  11. I would not pull a boat with anything that is front wheel drive. With the weight on the back end I would be scared of losing traction and getting stuck on wet boat ramps. I really recommend either 4WD or AWD.
  12. I wonder if these are slicker with fiberglass boats or aluminum or would it make any difference?
  13. I was referring to hook replacement in general. I don't know why the action would change. The Tiny Torpedo takes a size 6 hook. The Baby Torpedo takes a size 4. Not sure if they would have to be short shank or standard hooks.
  14. I had to look these up after @A-Jay posted about them. I was interested in replacing mine with better bunks. I have built my own twice in 19 years of owning this boat and trailer. If they are as slick as @tander posted that would create some dangerous situations for me or anyone fishing alone.
  15. Looks like a good fish catcher at a fantastic price. Hope they work for you.
  16. When I replace split rings for the hooks I use a size 3. Anything smaller is too hard to work with at least for me. I would recommend The Owner brand split rings.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. It is actually a disease. My doctor diagnosed me with it. He called it CFD or Compulsive Fishing Disorder. No medicine exists to cure it.
  19. How long before Johnny Morris and Pradco own all of the fishing Industry?
  20. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  21. I bought some unpainted weights from BPS. They are fairly bright silver color. I haven't used them much yet. I wish they had been a duller flat color. After seeing the color I wish I had gotten the painted ones.
  22. I have a copper line going to my refrigerator. AS long as the solenoid valves are not energized on the refrigerator that will all be okay.
  23. I have used them with 12# Sufix Siege mono on baitcaster with no problems. If using a spinning rod I would go with 10# Sufix Siege.
  24. Maybe I need to be fishing in Kansas instead of Kentucky.
