Hello and welcome to the forum.
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  3. You are lucky since you didn't catch it. I did catch one several years ago. If I told the whole story nobody would believe it.
  4. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  5. I have fished Super Flukes on spinning and baitcasting gear. I usually use a baitcaster with 12# floro. I like to ad 1/16 ounce bullet weight to it for better casting distance.
  6. I had Vertigo probably 35 years ago. It was not as bad as your case was. I would be fine and suddenly my head would be spinning and I would lose my balance. My primary doctor took care of it with medicine but I don't remember what it was. They never mentioned anything about crystals in my ear causing the problem.
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  8. You can change out the hooks without any problem. I have changed out the hooks on my Jitterbugs and I do use a split ring. I think it helps with hook up since the hooks can move more. Be careful not to over tighten the screws when you put them back in. I never thought about using thread locker but it might help.
  9. I clean my own reels as much as I can. If something breaks in one I would probably have to send it out for repair.
  10. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  11. Hope things turn around and get better for you. Will be praying for you.
  12. I like the full cork grips. I guess rod length makes a difference. If you are standing up to cast using a longer rod the split grips make make a difference. I have to sit down to fish and don't use a rod over 6'6" in length. I think the split grips are ugly and I hope I never have buy one.
  13. With the prices DSG has it is no wonder they are hurting for sales. I would have to be really desperate to get something from them. Our closest Academy store is about 75 miles away.
  14. I always have the plastic over the eye and the knot. It gives some protection for the knot with the sinker sliding in to it if you don't peg it.
  15. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  16. Hopefully you will get things figured out and the fishing will get better for you when you go back home.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. Did the gators let you know how much they missed you?
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  20. I feel sorry for anything that would try to tangle with one that big.
  21. I have used and caught fish with lizards but I prefer the Baby Brush Hog. It has worked better and caught me bigger fish than a lizard ever has.
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  23. I haven't tried a lot of lipless baits but the Bayou Boogie is the only one I have ever caught bass on.
  24. My doctor has a name for it He calls it C.F.D. or Compulsive Fishing Disorder. No known cure exists at this time.
  25. Bought a pack of 4" and a pack of 5" Hula Grubs this year. Only used them one time on a shaky head. May have had a few little bites but didn't catch anything yet on them. Hope for better luck next time.
