I would be throwing a Deep Baby N or the Middle N. I have one NXS but haven't caught anything with it yet. I don't even own a DD14 or a DD22. Most of the places I fish you don't need a super deep diver.

I am like @TnRiver46. I felt like I was looking in the mirror reading @Mobasser post. I have moved up to low profile reels but I do still have some round reels. I am happy with what I have and how I fish. I can't afford to try every new bait or trick they come up with. Since I don't fish tournaments it is not that important to me try every trick out there.

You might want to check with your local tackle shops. We have one that sells used equipment and they try to make sure everything is okay with it before the put it out for sale.

If I have a really good bait and lose it they are usually discontinued by the time I go looking for them.

This bait is defective. You will send it to me for disposal. You will not show any more pictures of Norman baits in this color on here or talk about them.

I have to agree with @Mobasser. I have a lot of stuff I need to take out of my boat to simplify things. I have too much stuff in too many colors right now but I will whittle it down.

I have good luck with the Middle N. I have caught them on the Deep Baby N and Deep Little N too.

BPS and Cabelas both have 6' rods in their house brand rods. I;m not sure about Academy as I have not checked out there rod selections.

Glad you are okay and everything turned out okay in the end. Forgetting to remove the screwdriver sounds like something I would do. I am lucky the spring didn't break while I had the boat out. Getting the door open would not have been easy. I would have needed to find another place to store it or empty it out completely if I had to leave it outside here. It is so nice having such wonderful honest people around the neighborhood.

If your are going to use them same setup I would slide the bobber stop on down the line, cut off any bad line, add my sinker and tie on the new hook.

I don't have a door opener on my garage door. Since we don't keep a car or truck in it I never put one on it. It took me and the door guy to get it open as it was since this is an insulated door it is heavy anyway.

I also got same day service. He got here about 2:30 this afternoon. I only have one spring on my 8' garage door. About an hour and $160 later the job was done. I couldn't have gotten the specialty tools and parts to fix it for that. I have done a lot of maintenance work but never anything like this. I would have been lost trying to do this myself.

I use 1/2 ounce spinnerbaits and use 12# Sufix Siege.

I have been using Wave Away screen cleaner on my electronics. It is rather expensive for what you get. I am looking at some other cleaners. I was wondering if the cleaners for eye glasses would work. Are they safe for boat electronics? Does anyone know of any other options that would be okay to use? Thanks for any help with this.

We have great weather today and the water should be in good shape. Getting everything in the boat to go fishing today. Get ready to hook up and find out I have a problem. The main spring on my garage door is broken and I can't open it to get my boat out. So here I sit waiting for the garage door company to come fix it this afternoon. You are right about the fish he catches. My problem is the places I fish for Smallmouth are completely different from what he is fishing. I am either fishing a river or creeks. He is fishing big lakes.

I thought I was the only one that bought baits A-Jay recommended. I have some of the colors and types he recommends but I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

A 6" junebug lizard just caught the Ky state record bass. I bought a pack and tried them not too long ago. They work. I caught a 12" bass on one.

Thank you for this information. I don't know how this happened since I never knowingly signed up to follow any threads. I didn't even know you could sign up to follow certain threads.

I can't say whether the sun screen ratings are real or not. What I do like is on hot days if you get a good breeze or make a run in the boat you will cool off faster. I used to wear light gray t shirts. If they got soaked with sweat you didn't cool off near as much.
