^ You know they're just throwing darts in the back room for that...they don't 'know' exactly when such events will happen...just sometime in a 6-8 hour window.

Considering that every other weather service out there - from your local radio station to Weather Channel - gets their data from NWS...I just go to 'The Source'.

Using VPN? Why?
^ Depending on your VPN service - some of the IPs they assign your 'secure' connection will show up in lists that HTTPS servers have flagged. So those IPs won't be able to access BR at all.

Dumb trailer tire question
I have a garage, but it's such a pain getting the boat in and out of it, I just use it for winter storage...rest of the time the boat sits next to the garage.

Post a photo a day!
My local guy who does a YouTube update every Sunday says the leaves around Tonka are already starting to change...I'll confirm when I go out tomorrow.

Bass Resource menu button doesn’t work for me.
Like Glenn said - clear your cache...I do it regularly as a matter of course...and I don't have that issue on Win-7/FireFox 115.2.1esr

I'm sure Lynn will say it's well deserved.

Primer bulb rant
The whole fuel line is not a place to be cheap - I spent $45 for the line with Evinrude connectors already on then another $10 for the tank fitting. Spend the money, get quality here...it's worth it.

Cleanliness
^ My truck gets a 'bath' every time it rains...at 22 years and 250,000 miles it's not a great priority.

Lund 1875 pro v bass xs Question(s)
I see one with MSI (which is built-in Mega-Side Imaging sonar transducer) linkable with Lowrance units, the other says US2 (which is Universal Sonar 2 - basically linkable with standard 2D and Downscan units) The Ghost is from Lowrance itself - completely compatable with all upper Lowrance sonars. Personally I'd like to have a Garmin Force TM option...I prefer Garmin sonars to Lowrance and Garmin and Minn Kota don't play well together...much less Garmin and Lowrance.

Tournament in the morning on Tenn Tom waterway
Whether the pic is taken with my phone, or just a frame from my action camera - I edit the size in Photoshop. My standard sizes are either 900x1200 or 1200x1600 reduced from the 3000x4000 of my phone's camera or the 1080p of my action cam.

Being on time
I was the same way when I worked IT. Wife accuses me of running on 'Wizard Standard Time' - I always try to be 10-15 minutes early for any appointment, meeting, etc.

Question for my Northern friends
Only the real-deal will do for me...grew up in Mass, so we had access to real Vermont Syrup...and the maple-sugar candies, can't forget the candies. This is the best stuff I've found locally - and it is local, it's made about 12 miles away from me.

2023 MN Season Thread
A little low, but not as bad as last year.

What species of fish is this?
The body structure and the fin placement all point to a member of the Sunfish family...which includes Crappie. Bluegill are a sunfish species...just lots of people want to separate them from Pumpkinseeds, Green, etc. Being in such bad shape, determining exact species is problematic given that the color has mostly washed (digested/rotted) out.

Coping with chronic heart ache ~
Way to go Lynn...and great news Andy. Here's to many more years together and may all future issues get resolved just as well.

Would you respool?
^ Ditto - I'd respool in that situation even if it was more expensive FC...being much cheaper mono, it's a no brainer.
-
Jigs on braid- fluoro leader or no?
I'm with Glenn - straight braid in heavy cover, straight FC in sparse cover or open water.

I have a rod/reel question…
I'm not near the numbers of others - and I don't do tournaments either. But - I do have 11 casting rigs and 5 spinning rigs relegated to bass...that doesn't include the 4 spinning rigs for panfishing.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Best one boated today. Had two I know were bigger - I saw them - but they shook the hook just as I was about to net them. (le' sigh) Caught on a @Siebert Outdoors Fogy Pro, 3/8oz, Pumpkinseed/Gold Blade with a 4" Pit Boss in Skeet's Chartreuse Shad trailer.

Why do YOU fish for bass with 65+pound braid?
I don't - 50# is what I have on my pitch/punch rig...that's as heavy as I need.
-
Please share your 2023 20 lb. bag.
I think my best five for this year might top 12# - lots of smaller ones has been my forte'. Best numbers day? maybe 5... (whines)
