  1. I'm sticking with the prediction I made on A-Jays Annual Ice Out April 27
  2. Another 'Made in China' LiFePo.
  3. Saw a bumper sticker yesterday while running errands. "Work is for those who don't know how to fish"
  4. Ya - they did that in MN some years back. Use to be you couldn't target bass until Memorial Weekend. Then they added C&R starting when walleye/pike season opened...still can't keep bass until Memorial Weekend, but at least we can go out when the other gamefishers do.
  5. Based in the US - BUT Relion are another US company, with an extensive range of Lithium batteries, 12V, 24V and 48V, all made in China, https://www.pbo.co.uk/gear/lithium-batteries-for-boats-reviewed-12-of-the-best-lithium-boat-batteries-tested-62244
  6. Considering that most all lithium batteries are made in China - probably only at 2-3 facilities. Save some money and get one from another label...preferably a company that's been around a while. Mighty Max is one - they've been in business for 16 years and they have a 75ah LiFePo for $399. https://www.mightymaxbattery.com/shop/lifepo4/ml75-12li-12v-75ah-deep-cycle-lithium-battery/ https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-ML75-12LI-Lithium/dp/B07YSXJJPG/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3K65IS9YXE2PE&keywords=mighty+max+lithium+75ah&qid=1647473168&s=electronics&sprefix=mighty+max+lithium+75ah%2Celectronics%2C126&sr=1-2
  7. I'm not that much earlier - middle of May is when it's legal here again.
  8. I'll take the extra hour at the end of the day. The morning 'loss'? ?
  9. It's not just Rage, Mike. I saw a few notices on various products from rods/reels to hardbaits to other plastics - quite a few items (that haven't gone up already like Pfleuger reels) are going up on April 1.
  10. Not all - Win-7 Pro on the Desktop and Netbook, Android 9 on the Tablet, Android 11 on the Phone...all give me the same problems.
  11. With all the studies out there showing that the time change affects worker production for upwards of a week after, setting down to a single time without the change is good for everyone. Myself - I have to run around changing 7 clocks in the house, then remember to change the one in the truck...gets old really fast.
  12. There's also going to be classes, seminars with pros and other things...it's not just a 'shopping expedition'.
  13. We're looking at mid-40s to mid-50s this week with lows being at or above freezing. Sunday - not only were there quads on Black Lake (one of the first to open on Tonka) but even a couple small to midsize SUVs (Rav-4s, Cherokees, Patriots, etc)
  14. Translation: that was a stinker
  15. I stay away from Water Gremlin on principle despite them being a MN company...mainly because of this. https://www.auditor.leg.state.mn.us/sreview/watergremlin.pdf
  16. Never owned a Lews anything, so no help from this quarter...sorry.
  17. One thing that made me scratch my head. He left the truck/trailer ON the ramp as he sped off. Good advertising there guys - your trailer is worth so much you purposefully block others from launching/landing.
  18. Agreed...I've held several retail positions over the course of my working career. Last one was 2001-2006 - Speedway. Started as cashier, worked my way up to Asst Manager before I left to take on a manufacturing job at a 50% pay increase. Retail experience is something everyone should have at some point in their lives.
  19. I wasn't sure if we were worried about pieces. Two of my crappie rods are 7' and 7'6" - both are 2-piece
  20. Look at crappie rods - some of those reach 14'. Light jig rod (1/16-1/4oz) https://www.academy.com/p/b-n-m-bucks-14-l-freshwater-jig-pole?sku=14-black-medium-light
  21. Which version? https://www.nrm.org/wp2016/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Religions-research-sm.jpg
  22. Except the new model Supreme and Supreme XT have removed the AR switch as well...have to get last year's model or earlier to still have the switch.
  23. Something like this? (snicker)
