  1. A thorough washing of hands should take care of it...just don't touch anywhere you applied it afterwards. I can't wear cologne...wife's allergic to them all and it kicks her athsma into high gear
  2. This will be the first year I haven't been able to give my mom something...having lost her on 3 Jan...gonna be rough.
  3. Sorry, pal...they aren't. Black Flies and Horse Flies are two different species. Black flies are smaller - rarely reaching more than 3/16" long while horse flies can reach 1" long with a 2.4" wingspan. Both are biters, both can transmit diseases, but the size differential is the main thing. Just like mosquitos - only the females try to get blood - it's to help development of their eggs. Males of both just want flower nectar.
  4. Nope - 8AWG is good to up to 55 amps. Go ahead and use what you got.
  5. That's surprising considering how recent it came out compared to other models.
  6. @Siebert Outdoors - live bait for the panfishing times, Mike.
  7. Marine Carpeting has pre-cut kits for quite a few Ranger boat models. https://marinecarpeting.com/pre-cut-bass-boat-kits/ranger/
  8. ^ Will it didn't produce numbers last year, two of my better bass were caught on a Siebert swim-jig in Green Pumpkin Candy with my go-to trailer....a Pit Boss in Green Haze. Never got around to pitching into the mess - was having too much fun on the outer weedlines.
  9. I have a ML/XF spinning rig that I use for Neds, Neko, Dropshot and weightless plastics. It handles the bass quite well...key is making sure the drag is set properly for the line you're using.
  10. Right now - 3 of my boys are inside the cutoff - with one in the top ten and another within striking distance of that. Hack Attack is dropping duds and the Llama is thrashing about...
  11. Glidebaits and hard swimbaits (one joint like the pic it's a glidebait, more than one joint it's a swimbait) are both bass catchers I use small swimbaits like this Bucca Baby Gill Swimbait - 3/4oz - $16
  12. Nope - just the Yen/Dollar exchange rate applies...prices on their site vary based on that.
  13. I ordered a Daiwa Bass-X reel from Amazon JP. As a Prime member, I paid nothing more than tax, but it did take a little over a week to get to me - Digitaka usually has them in my hand in 3 days from Osaka, JP...and there's no tax.
  14. Go JDM - order a Tatula 100 for $137 - little above your price range, but well worth it. https://www.digitaka.com/items/4/4/2/TATULA+TW
  15. Same as how I store my finesse stuff - Small slide top boxes - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D915V2Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Large slide top boxes for things like 5/0-8/0 hooks and such that won't fit in the smaller boxes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L91K1QB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Plano 3620 - and I can carry everything Shot with my 1/16oz tungsten weights and my 3/0 worm hooks open to show. The two compartments with weights are my 3/4oz and my 1-1/2oz flipping weights...they're too thick to fit in either box. The boxes are not air/water tights - so, some silica gel packs in the one spare compartment and no rusting will occur.
  16. That second one isn't even close to what Navionics can do....here's an even closer look of the southern tip of Dungeon Canyon. I've never seen a LakeMaster map, so can't tell you the difference.
  17. I've had to replace 3 Rattlin Raps the past two seasons cause of pike stealing them.
  18. Agree with previous - use what's designed for your unit. LakeMaster for Humminbird. There should be a setting on your unit for +- depth adjustment...I know my Garmins have it. Unfortunately, I don't think LakeMaster has an online 'preview' like Navionics does. Navionics for Lake Powell Overview Dungeon Canyon closer look (red rectangle above)
  19. Dunno if you'll get an answer - last post before yours was 10 years ago. And the originator of the thread hasn't been seen in the forum since 2016
  20. That's what Rapala itself lists the line diameter on their web-site (Rapala owns Sufix)
  21. Bears repeating - use what's recommended by the motor manufacturer. My old 25hp Evinrude 2-stroke gets nothing but ethanol free.
  22. It'll also help you find those 'prime' spots...drop-offs near flats, points, cut-ins. While Tonka is a bigger lake (14,000 acres) I also use it on Dutch which is only 173 acres.
  23. Any of the Echomap SV models can have LiveScope added.
  24. Other than the maps - the units are identical...that's the only difference between the Strikers and the Echomaps...they even use the same transducers. Yes, you can put an Inland Maps card into the 74 and get your lakes...just seems a round-about way of doing it.
