Garmin Vivid Striker 7SV Transducer Disconnected....??
If you disconnect/reconnect often, the Molex sockets in the plug can open up a little...giving an intermittent connection. Saw this a lot in electronic controls of machines I built when I worked in manufacturing.

Any Comic book enthusiast
I did the same thing years ago - then in 2015, sold my entire collection, including Mike Grell's Warlord - complete series - M or NM condition X-Men - GS1 & #94 through X-Men-vs-Avengers - M or NM condition also had New X-Men and X-Force from start through that time. I'd always do one read - then bag and back every comic.

Brand new reel not running smoothly after first day
Some Pfluegers use to come just jam-packed with grease...or totally dry - it was a crap-shoot. Either way, it'd need basic maintenance to get it correct. Four choices 1: Do without it for a couple weeks while it gets 'fixed' 2: Find someone local who can do it - most tackle shops have a repair area...one of our local ones will handle any of the 'top name' brands. 3: Just deal with it 4: Toss it and get a new one (last gasp)

drop shot beginner
Depends - I fished Coffee Cove yesterday (still stuck on shore) and one gal was using a drop-shot...tossing it out and slowly dragging it back. She picked up 6 bass in the 14"-16" group in half-an-hour. I wouldn't call that 'watching paint dry'. BTW: I picked up 5 in that same class in an hour with a weedless Ned I was testing for Munkin...forgot my Ned plastics so was using a 2" Mr Crappie Joker in Tuxedo Black.

Neko Problems
If I'm using them with Yama Senkos - I lose more worms than rings...the worm will part in half, but fairly often the ring is still dangling from the hook when I bring it back in...load it on the tool and use it again.

Neko Problems
I buy them off Amazon - $8.39 for 100 so $0.08 each For 3" and slender finesse worms For 4"-5" worms

Power fishing up north
I'd say it's about a 50/50 split on the bass I've caught between finesse (Neds, Wacky, Shakey Head, etc) and power fishing (Spinners, Chatters, Jigs, etc) The bass in my avatar pic was caught on a spinnerbait, run along the edge of a lily-pad patch in about 2'-3' of water...she came barreling out from under the pads to slam it.

Any tips for fishing with a noodle rod?
Another option is a 'Trout Magnet' kit - great for panfish as well. https://www.amazon.com/Trout-Magnet-Original-152-Piece-Kit/dp/B000ZKZD5M?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Frog experts, talk to about long frog rods.
^ DH is our resident frog fan here in MN...does quite well at it too...one to listen to on that technique.

St Croix Avid Spinning Rods
Sounds like it to me - I use a 7'1" Mojo Bass M/F for those techniques and it's very good...I can only imagine the Avid being better.

The 150's frame size is between the CT and 100. The Tatula CT is just a Fuego CT with the T-Wing system added.

My old one got lost somewhere - keep meaning to make a new one. One with a BR logo would be great. Count me in on this.

Daiwa baitcasting reel advice needed
Well, left and right hand should be self explanatory. The 100 (no letter) is the 6.3:1 ratio - 26 inches per turn of the handle retrieve rate - I use that speed for crankbaits The 100XH is the 8.1:1 ratio - 34 inches per turn of the handle retrieve rate - I use that speed for pitching or other techniques where I want a high-speed retrieve The 100H is the 7.1:1 ratio - 30 inches per turn of the handle retrieve rate - I use that speed for pretty much everything else.

First time baitcast setup advice: Pfleuger Monarch combo?
Since they're down to only the Monarch and President XT for casting reels now, I've had to move away from Pflueger for casting...I have 3 Patriarchs and 2 Supremes and they're great casting reels...too bad they decided to end those lines.

Not happy with BasiX
Like I mentioned - that was after only a few dozen casts with a fresh leader in mostly clear water...some weeds and floating sticks, but that was it....call it 40 minutes or so of fishing time before it snapped. I've lasted all day with InvizX on the same rig in the same conditions. I'll pay the extra and all my BasiX is going into the 'use only in emergencies' bin.

First time baitcast setup advice: Pfleuger Monarch combo?
As a Pflueger fan-boy since the70s I'll say this - walk away from the Monarch.

Sun tackle damage
Most of it is just gonna get warm to the touch...I'd put your plastics at the bottom of the pile, or someplace that can get some shade through. Line (other than braid) should also stay out of the sun if you bring some for leaders or on-the-water re-spools.
