New (To Me) 14’ Tracker
“Trailer is missing all the wiring and the wiring inside the boat isn’t the prettiest. Probably spend 3-4 hours this week working on that so it will all be ready to go for Saturday.“ I’d also vote for near the drivers seat. Less wires to run and well. One thing I’ve learned about a boat, however much time and how much money you *think* you’re going to spend, multiply by roughly 7.4

Fishing. No coffee in the morning.
I still drink out of the hose. The first 8 seconds or so it’s hot as hell. After that, bliss.

Is there an answer?
How do fireworks stores stay open year round? How do Psychic Readings stores go out of business? One may never know…

The true world record
Is it the biggest bass ever landed? Yes. Is it the biggest one within the rules? No. Some dude named Bonds probably has had this brought up once or twice…same state as well

Confused fishing etiquette
Two things, first, that drawing is pure gold. I’d put that on a shirt and wear it. A lot. Second, missed a chance when giving him a bait to clue him in on some fishing etiquette.

Engine light came on so i fixed it and went back to fishing
I’ve never owned a vehicle that didn’t have the engine light on…that’s a real thing?

Boat Bucket Tie down for 1860 Grizzly
Sounds like a 9th grade Algebra word problem. All your missing is Joules thrown in there and something about potential energy.

Does Berkeley Big Game Mono work well on a baitcaster?
There’s probably been more bass caught on Big Game, a heater and Bud Light than all that fancy stuff combined and multiplied by 4.6 You'll be fine

My California SLUMP continues. Haha.
Haha! You aren’t a true bass fisherman until you’ve seriously considered selling everything you have and doing something else.

Do you really need to spend $100+ for a good rod?
How much do you fish? I’m not dialed in enough to really know the difference but I have found the more expensive stuff tends lasts longer and perform better while lasting. When you fish a lot or for money, or both, it makes a difference

I think I’ve reached THAT POINT
Send them to me. Been so strapped for cash lately I’ve been fishing with pictures of lures.

Aluminum Vs Fiberglass For Beginners
Vexus sit higher in the water than any fiberglass boat I’ve seen. Best riding bass boat I’ve ever been in. Just like AJ said, there are times you need to be careful and times you need to leave the boat on the trailer

Time to talk about protection from the sun?
Well, there’s that…

should i almost always hold the rod tip high? (i usually hold it low... pretty limited success, lol)
Heard Mark Rose say “high, but if you can’t see the tip out your peripheral, it’s too high and you can run out of room on a hard strike and quick hookset..” He’s caught a largemouth bass or two on a worm

jerkbait setup help needed
I’d say spend 250 casts before 250 bucks. They work, but only around fish. If the new rod will get you closer to fish, swipe that card!
