  1. That is why I put the spool on the floor and put the line thru all the guides on the rod for spinning reels. I never could have any good luck coming off the spooling rack.
  2. I have this one at home. It will hold what I use one my baitcasters. And I just use the floor for my spinning reels
  3. I think a Mister Twister phenom and a hang 10 worm would do the job

You can vary on your size of hook to influence the rate of fall if you are fishing weightless. A 2/0 hook is the smallest and your rate of fall is slowest. A 3/0 ewg is used mostly and it can be moved rearward to change the action. You can normally go all the way up to a 4/0 superliner hook to make it dance different. If you are just Texas rigging I would recommend a 3/0 ewg.
  5. Black, white, merthiolate, and bubble gum has worked for me in the mud. I don't have a repeatable pattern for it.My dad only fished with black and white trick worms when I was younger.
  6. I have used a Bps Offshore angler salt striker spinning rod 7 ft medium heavy moderate. It will throw just about anything I own. I have bass fished and catfished with it. It is not an expensive rod but it fits that kind of niche for me.
  7. I experienced this several years ago. The pond owners did the same thing and the water turned twice once is was blue/green and then the water turned brown after that. Junebug worked ok during most of the process. Black and also white zoom trick worms worked during the brown phase. They killed the minnow population and the minnow spawn almost 2 years and most of the fish looked severely thin and unhealthy.
  8. For a day I would take 2 bags of plastics. First would be a Zoom trick worm. One has lots of options when you are using this bait. Second I would have a Zoom uv- speed craw and again with this I am confident that I can catch bass.
  9. I would think that braid is the way to go at least for me it would be with or without a leader.
  10. I use the Duke Cannon standard issue "Every d**n Day" face lotion. Spf 30 I like it because it doesn't feel like a paste after you apply it.
  11. I have tried a lot of different lizards the only ones that I have consistent success with are the zoom and the yum lizard.
  12. Old school that is the ticker disc. Karl's bait has a Carolina rig kit with all the parts included to put together 2 rigs.
  13. I use a Denny Brauer Baby Structure Jig when I want a heavier hook. It comes in a 1/4 and a 3/8 oz sizes the bitsy bug and bitsy flip are some of my favorites also. But if I want something stout the Baby Structure Jig Is the money for me
  14. That hurts just looking at it!! I have never got a hook to the face but a hook in the hand a couple of times. Let us know about how they got removed.
  15. I think I can go till next season. I just bought line this month and I really stocked up on terminal during COVID.
  16. Rage menace Rage bug Pit boss Space monkey Baby brush hog
  17. I went back to them a couple of years ago. Zoom and Yum are my favs. White, pumpkin chartreuse, pumpkin fire and junebug chartreuse. They work all year. Hopefully I can get strong enough to fish them this year.
  18. I have used a lot of different brands over the years but I prefer Big Game or BPS Excel line for mono. I also use Power Pro braid.
  19. I have a lot of tackle tray ornaments stored away from a lot of years back. But now not so much now. Strike King and Zoom get the most of my fishing money now. There are so many bait companies out there now, one cannot keep up with them. Bass Pro gets my rod and reel money.
  20. It has been off in the south also. Low water, fishing pressure more heat has resulted in a rollercoaster of results. I also believe that the fish have gotten used to our regular baits and presentations. I found a lot of success in changing up my baits and tactics. Hopefully it resets for next season.
  21. How would you rig it I looked at the pics. Just a treble hook on the front?
  22. I don't think that I could do all you want to do with 1 rod. The lighter stuff I would use a 6'6" medium fast rod 8 lbs mono. The others I would use a 6'6" medium heavy fast rod 10or 12 lb mono. I choose the slightly shorter rods because I am a bank beater most of the time. I could use braid on either one also.
  23. I have used a Trick Worm for several decades now. As long as they make them I will be a customer for it.
