I have purchased from them just recently. I am satisfied with their shipping. The post office lost my package tracking number and they responded almost immediately to my question that means a lot to me. The package was found and it is out for delivery today. They offer a free shipping membership discount and also 2 day shipping for just 6 bucks.
  2. I have the med hvy and the med casting rods. They are my favorites. I put Shimano SLX on both of them.
  3. Wishing you a speedy recovery!!
  4. For the most part I totally agree with you.A Example is the Pit boss at first it was a Havoc product and now it is a Power bait product. I caught a bunch of fish when it had no added scent and I catch fish with it now with the scent added. Probably 80 percent of the soft plastics I purchase have some sort of scent added to them before I buy them. Coffee scent, Yum's scent etc. I use them because I catch fish. Now all that said if someone started me fishing with a crawbait with Mega strike on it and I had a really good outing. I would have Mega strike on that bait again to replicate the success. Without a doubt I put Mega strike on my crawbaits every time.
  5. Wow I have had the opposite of what you have gone thru. I have had the broken rod tubes when they used the UPS LTL. FedEx has been great for me. But with what you have gone thru I will keep a close watch on them. Hopefully you can get the rest of your stuff from them soon
  6. It's more about the shipping carrier. If FedEx delivers the rod you have the best chance of success. If it is shipped UPS LTL which can use USPS that might be a different story. A 7ft rod doesn't fit in a older postal jeep 5 feet from front to back. This issue is why a lot of people order a one piece rod that turns into a 2 or 3 piece rod on your doorstep.
  7. If I am buying a rod online I always prefer Bass Pro. The rods are delivered by FedEx. It is always a happy transaction. Other than fishing rods I go to Karl's Club first. They have the best prices online for members and they ship well. I have received all of my orders within the shipping window shown at the point of sale. TW. always has the better selection in stock but I can't say my transactions are pleasant and on time. They are third tier in shopping order.
  8. C&B Tackle in Ridgeway SC is the best independent tackle shop in the midlands of the state.
  9. I don't know how many ounces of water you are drinking but if you would try 128 a day for a week. I really think it would make a difference.
  10. I would increase my hydration a bit and keep up with it real close.
  11. Look on the nako website they have some and if you want weights they got them too.
  12. The T-mac is more buoyant than the trick worm. For shaky head I would give it a little nod if I needed it to stand up. The biospawn Plasma tail is about the same. However the Trick worm is the 4x4 soft plastic worm for me. It will work Texas rig with a weight or weightless, shaky head, drop shot, wacky rig, or you can cut it a little and it will fit a ned rig. I have been a Trick worm fan since the early 90's
  13. Bass Pro still has the magnum kut tail worm as a house brand. 6in long showing available. Maybe ?
  14. Sorry to hear of your loss.
  15. I started fishing with my uncle and step brother about 1969. My uncle taught all the children to catch bluegill with dough balls so we would have bait for catfish. Mid 70's I would fish after school and on the weekends with my dad. I fished farm ponds and Lake Wateree on the weekends with dad until his health got bad probably 15 years ago. I kinda put fishing down then. About 5 years ago I started up again and I found a lot of fresh knowledge on this forum. I fish weekly as long as I am able. I have found fishing to be a superior past time.
  16. Zoom super speed craw would be my choice Texas rigged.
  17. Chompers skirted grubs have a very strong scent. I have been fishing farm ponds and the scent works with the horses also. They will follow me around or nose up around the truck when I am fishing with it.
  18. Woo Daves and Gary Klein used spincast

  20. Thanks for the explanation. I'm gonna check the ones I got out for that maybe that is why I don't catch much on lipless
  21. That's sounds good too. So it is a stronger hook. I have some of these lipless baits I just don't catch as much as I think I should. So on a lipless can you burn it too fast?
  22. That's great information there. So bigger hooks or heavier hooks. And do you think that you can retrieve that lure too fast and make it ride on its side.
  23. I just have to ask this question. What was the reel speed or ipt of your equipment? Most people like to "burn" them in or they have a yo-yo pattern retrieve. I have learned to pay attention to my lure speed to make the presentation more effective with crankbaits but I am still learning. Any thoughts?
  24. I appreciate all the advice. I've got to mail it back Monday. Had a lot to do today sorry to respond so late.
