  1. Is there a sportsmans Warehouse near you? My local one has them. You can order online from them too.
  2. I’m not familiar with your boat but places to look are under the seat, battery compartment , rod/storage lockers, under the dash. It might not be obvious and could have a snap on cover with the logo on it. Hope you find it
  3. Here’s a few of the glide baits I painted. I sell most of them and my fishing friends get one on their birthdays
  4. No specific brand, always have these rigged. Senko, Ned bait, paddle tail swim bait.
  5. Hard to beat a circle hook. Ask any saltwater fisherman. As mentioned, don’t try to cross their eyes with your hook set. When you get bit, keep reeling until you feel the weight of the fish, then lict and keep reeling. It’s almost impossible to gut hook a fish using a circle hook
  6. Thanks, I painted the bait in a trout pattern because trout are planted in a lot of lakes here and that’s a good portion of the bigger bass’ diet. IMO, the bait doesn’t need three hooks. I tried three hooks and never hooked a fish on the middle hook. One less book to get in the way I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you try the inline hooks
  7. I’ve had the same thing happen to me a few times. Each time they were trolling for trout. I don’t think they knew they were encroaching as all the guys trolling for trout come Lose to each other. It didn’t take Long for them to pass and I just ignored it. If I would have gotten upset, it would have ruined my morning,’not theirs. If it was a bass fisherman, I would have addressed it but I wouldn’t get upset. I’m on the water to relax and have a good day. I can stay home and get the confrontations. YMMV
  8. This way nowhere close to what I saw one day. Got ba into the dock after fishing and there were several people on and around the dock. As I was getting close to the dock. a guy waved me to the other side. Tied up, got out of the boat and saw why everyone was there. Someone backed their trailer into the water and got out of the truck to get the boat. He must have forgotten to set the brake and the truck rolled into the lake. It was completely submerged.
  9. Trying to post the picture again. If it doesn’t work, I give up
  10. I’m using VMC 7237BN in-line hooks in size 3/0. They replaced #4 trebles. They look big but the gap on an in-line hook should be the same size as any two points of the treble it replaces. I’m using two split rings on each hook so they line up properly on the bait. Front hook faces forward, back hook faces back. The photo is too large to post, no idea how to make it smaller
  11. You might try a weightless Senko nose hooked with an EWG hook. Push the hook thru the top of the bait and then back it out so you can skin hook it. Drag it on the top and stop and let it fall into any open areas. Good luck
  12. I use Showerblows also but I replaced the trebles with inline hooks. Hookup ratio didn’t change and a lot less problems when using a net
  13. Any bait that sits tail down in the water will give you a much better hook up ratio than one that sits flat.
  14. I use a 3/0 circle hook when I fish wacky style. The hook is stout. No need for a weed guard because of the design. I pour my own with a ball head, in various weights. If you want to try a few, pm me your contact info
  15. The Evergreen Shower loss jumps a lot and can also be worked in place
  16. Use Devcon 30 minute epoxy and add 4-5 drops of denatured alcohol from an eye dropper. Mix for a full minute. You don’t need a drying wheel
  17. For me, two things jump off the page. You have almost Norecourse, if any, if you write a check to a person. Second, writing the check to a person instead of the business tells me the money isn’t going to the business. As others mentioned, you’re probably best staying away. Good luck and have a fun trip
  18. A less expensive way is to use a hitchhiker and a crane swivel.
  19. Head up to Shasta. Bring warm clothes and rain gear. You should be able to catch 30-50 spotted bass a day
  20. Congrats on your new boat. What a change from standing on a rock
  21. It will be interesting to see what changes occur. Will SW start selling boats? Most of their stores aren’t big enough. I don’t expect to see any changes for a year
  22. Check out Don Castro in Hayward. I’m usually the only one when I go there
  23. Search Amazon for Bead Smith thread zap. Works great to repair baits. Inexpensive too
  24. Not sure if they are even letting people cross the border right now, but there was a 14 day quarantine period earlier for after entering Canada
