  1. Same for me and I'm on a MacBook. I just scroll down main page to New Forum Post and open one up. After I do that I'm golden, works like a charm. If I go back to the main page it locks back down.
  2. Actually, Matt Allen teamed up with Dirty Jigs to produce the Tactical Underspin. I just got mine in. Haven't used it yet (probably tomorrow) but it is a good looking unit with a small but very stout hook and no barb on top to tear the bait when a bass chomps it.
  3. While their warranty is very good, it has its limitations. You ship to them on your dime, they assess the issue and you receive correspondence from them with their determination of the damage. I have had frame failure in the past, like the rubberized coating peeling off, and they have replaced them every time with no issue. They even offered to replace the lenses at a greatly reduced price even though the lenses weren't part of the warranty claim.
  4. Sunk a treble into my thumb. It was on a top water plug. I had to take it off the split ring which hurt the most. Pushed it all the way to expose the barb, cut it off, and went back to fishing. My thumb was some kinds sore for the next several days!
  5. Yep. All the time. I'm forever tuning, testing and tweaking baits. Soon as I get a new order in I'm standing on the diving board giving the new baits a test run. I have really honed my skipping skills standing on the diving board. My pool is 42 ft long, so I can get a pretty good skip going.
  6. B-b-but we're in the Everything Else Threads......
  7. The Beeble is the full size version. The Chibeeble is a much smaller, finesse version. Beeble is pictured.
  8. The standard Flashy Swimmer in 3/8 oz 6/0 is plenty for the 4.8. I have great success with these standard sizes and they're $3 a piece.
  9. You got a dog to guard your REELS?? Man, you must have quite the collection!!
  10. Maybe the younger generation of fish aren't into the Beatles......
  11. And therein lies the "secret" to success. Self control.
  12. I have great success with the Shower Blows 77.7 size when when the water is clear and glass. The small size doesn't spook fish and the bubbles produced by the cupped mouth are subtle yet enticing. I've caught some big fish using it as well. It's my go to topwater in these situations.
  13. In your photo your snap is perfectly parallel with the bait. This indicates you're lifting the lure hence the upward tilt. Also, Indiana and Colorado style blades tend to cause much more drag which could cause the bait to tilt at certain retrieve speeds.
  14. Keep living. You'll get there.
  15. Candy Bug is a limited color run. It is Junebug purple with the "candy" flakes found in watermelon candy and the like. I prefer it to the standard Junebug color as the flake in standard Junebug is a bold green. The Candy flake is smaller in size and a bit more muted. there are several colors blended to make the Candy flake. Hope this helps...
  16. Sounds and looks as if your drag is loose. I suggest tightening the drag. It's the star shaped dial next to the reel handle. Roll it forward to tighten it.
  17. I use the War Eagle Screamin' Eagle in 1/2 oz. The weight is "hidden" along the hook shank and the bait itself is on a 1/4 frame. It's a smoker with the downsized blades. The wire tied skirt negates the need for a trailer of any sort and thus allows greater speed without blowing out.
  18. Going in the morning to a certain tackle shop that has this in stock to scope it out. At this point I intend on bringing it home.
  19. While that prospect is equally awarding in that hard work pays great dividends it's not nearly as fun as fishing. I do look forward to my workouts but not in the same vein as I look forward to my fishing trips. At times I can hardly sleep due to the anticipation of being on the water as the world wakes up. I never get that excited over my workouts.... I will say that if I did I would be in much better shape!
  20. Thanks for the insight. I don't plan to throw any 4 oz. baits but would like the option if it presented itself. I hadn't given much thought about the handle length. I will be concentrating on baits like the MagDraft and S-Waver mostly.
  21. Interesting name you got there.......
  22. The bait monkey is VERY disappointed in you.
  23. Storm Largo Shad. The tail section has a piece that can be torn off to change the action, so you can customize the action based on the jig you're throwing.
  24. You mean to tell me I shouldn't be basing my beliefs solely on my emotions at the moment and whatever social media tells me to believe? I gotta reason things out and actually practice critical thinking????
