  1. I got another T out of Moore haven next month. Should be 12.5 by then. Any of you guys going to fish the Gambler T?

Handguns in the wrong hands are very dangerous.
  3. Nice report.
  4. 1965 Ford had an A/FX Mustang with a 427 sohc, less than a dozen were built I believe. they eventually were banned from competition. I had a chance to ride in a 427 Galaxie. The driver just drove slowly and idled around the block. Just an amazing car and engine. I can understand why it was outlawed.
  5. I know that Ford makes a DOHC V6. I drove one in a Taurus and it ran impressive. I am sure there must be a DOHC on the V8 models. The 5.4 Triton is 3 valves per cylinder. I am not sure if it is DOHC.
  6. My wife likes to fish, as long as the bass are cooperating. Usually the trips are 2-3 hours with excellent weather. My daughter just turned 3 so I will be doing some bank fishing with her next spring. It should be fun.
  7. For extra piece of mind, I keep 2 battery operated live well aerators with fresh batteries in my storage box. They are cheap, and good insurance.
  8. Awesome!! I used to race 428 mustang street cars back in the 70-80s. Very cool video.
  9. My club is having a T next week out of Clewiston. Any suggestions on areas to fish or areas where lower water could be a concern? I have not been to the lake in several months. I am looking forward to the trip.
  10. I love the car, but not the rims and tire combo.

    It looks delicious.
  12. The 115 is a much slender and smaller motor. Bad idea all around.
  13. Take a nice 1-2 mile walk in the evening. Eat bananas, vitamins, and drink lots of water. A hot shower before bed also helps.
  14. From what I have been told, it is not a good idea to run without poppets and thermostats. I am no outboard mechanic though. I would not run my motor that way.
  15. Post cold fronts are really tough. On the other hand, wasting the afternoon watching the Fins was worse.
  16. jacosmarine usually has good prices
  17. My 1984 2.0L 150 Mercury runs 8 PSI at idle and 20-25 PSI at WOT with the motor level. Once I trim it out for top speed, I usually run 18-20 PSI. If everything else checks out, there might be a problem with your water pressure gauge.
  18. I might be wrong, but didn't Mercury make a 2.4L 175 HP? There also might be some 175HP with 2.5L blocks.
  19. LOL Pretty cool....
  20. It might be helpful to know when the movie was made. Was it originally a old B&W or was it retro B&W made in the 60-70's. I am always interested in good old movies.
  21. I am glad you guys had a nice laugh
  22. When I am fishing, I move to the front seat, which levels the boat nicely. The problem occurs when a boat passes behind my boat putting a wake into my transom while I am seated in driving position. I addition, when I am idling slowly forward, all of the weight, including my own is in the stern or rear of the boat. If I am on a large windy wake like lake Okeechobee while idling towards the grass or cut, the chop can wash up on the deck. Coming off plane (and idling in reverse), I get some water up through the jack plate, but I just control the throttle to stay ahead of the wake as the boat settles down. Somebody recommend a volley ball (or basketball), hard foam, or off the shelf flotation attached to the outside or inside of the jack plate to raise it an inch or so.This issue is actually quite common with boats hanging big motors on large jack plates and others have came up with their own home made solutions. I can live with it, but I am just searching for some way to improve the situation. Thanks again to everyone for your help.
