3400 acre lake. Sometimes I only want to target the big Gizzard shad eaters so I throw big baits. Our shad grow to 18+ inches. Sometimes I want to catch a pile of Spots so I throw tiny baits.

Excellent. During the Shad spawn, I'll be on the water fishing a couple hours before daylight.

Caught 11 yesterday. They tried hiding from me on the humps.

That was rough.

Sir, you caught 100% more than I did. Everytime time I let go of the handle on my Zero Turn it just goes in a circles and makes it very difficult to cast. It also has virtually no storage for fishing gear. My net keeps getting hung up in low hanging limbs.

Three people in a bass boat, highly likely the 2nd fisherman was sitting on the center back of the front deck obstructing the drivers view. I see this scenario frequently. Glad no one was killed.

Took my new motor to the lake for some Break In run time from 8 - 12 this morning. I followed the rules and took some rods.😁 Caught 7 bookends in two hours of fishing.

Nice. I'm gonna put my possum into the the rotation soon.

Sadly, just a couple days ago my fishing bud said he's done fishing and selling everything fishing related. I think I've talked him into keeping a few rods so he can go with me occasionally. He turns 87 in November and said every trip takes him 4 days. Day one is prep, Day two is the fishing trip, and Day three & four are for recovery. I'm certainly gonna miss him on the water, but I'll be checking in on him regularly.

Sounds delicious and I'm sure it'll be enjoyed by all with a normally functioning brain.

Lo It was a long troll and I fished a couple spots on the way back. Not sure on the engine, lost power and started smoking bad enough that I grabbed my fire extinguisher.

Fished from 6a - 1p and caught 10. Water temp is 69. I can't connect with a big girl. Sadly, my 21 year old 25 hp Mercury 2 stroke died at 10:30, five miles from the ramp.

Simply AWESOME.
