  1. I have one BC setup designated for Ned rigs. It is spooled with Yozuri hybrid #6 line. Before I switched to Yozuri I used Seaguar Red fluorocarbon line in 6#. This is the third or fourth year for this setup. I have never had it “dig into” itself.
  2. X2. I have 6 of them. They come with a lifetime warranty. I use them more than my St Croix and Gloomis rods.
  3. Some of my best worm fishing is in the winter. I’m pretty much addicted to shaky fishing. I have a minimum of 2 setups rigged that way 24/7.
  4. Since you have tried and had trouble, I suggest that you select a place and weight it down with a sand bag then take it to the lake. You can move it around until you get it right.
  5. Nope I don’t and haven’t for a very long time. I tend to break stuff and wind up with even more problems. I am one of the reasons why God made mechanics.
  6. Pace it doesn’t have a cilantro taste.
  7. I use the Eze lap tool when needed. https://www.fishusa.com/Eze-Lap-Diamond-Hook-Sharpener?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyNTcyN7C8wIVLG5vBB38cQe2EAQYAiABEgLnVfD_BwE
  8. There are lots of places for that kind of trip. The lower end of Stockton has a ramp at Crabtree Cove on the east side and one on the west side at the Stockton Public Use area. Both places have lots of fishing possibilities and you can stay in protected coves. Since you are new to this, I want to caution you about getting out in open water where boats are running fast. You are hard to see. They can be on you in a matter of seconds. There are dozens of other places you can go. Some good maps and planning can help ypu have a good trip. Good luck and have fun.
  9. Are you wanting to do a river float or just put in and do some fishing?
  10. Mother Nature takes care of them every once in a while around here. We go from abundance to near none. For some reason they die off by the hundreds of thousands all over a lake. No biologists have given a reason. I doubt that they even have concerns since they generate very little revenue unlike black bass which is mega millions here.

Those screen protectors also make cleaning easier. You don’t have to take special care. I just wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a towel as I clean the boat cap.

Clearcast might be able to help you.
  13. It changed because the lack of deck and storage space.
  14. First make sure you follow your state regulations. I used to do it a lot. I wire tied pieces of hog bacon to the inside of the traps. We pulled them every 15 minutes all night long. We got some monsters. We kept a fire going, cooked and ate them as we caught them.
  15. X2. It would be an accident looking for a place to happen.
  16. Do you leave the red in the meat?
  17. 1st my homemade buck tail jigs 2nd Charlie Brewer’s white pearl grub
  18. The one that I liked the best was my Champion 206 Elite with a 225 Mercury Optimax motor. I kept it for 14 years.
  19. I just did a survey on a local forum. Missouri guys are overwhelmingly going 2 and 2.
  20. It is better than it used to be. However, I can not be convinced that the government doesn’t change the accuracy when they so choose.
  21. 2 in front and 2 behind is the only way that feels right to me. Everyone I have fished with does the same. I guess it is what you get used to doing or maybe it is a regional thing.
  22. I only have them in IMX but the 843C are by far my favorites.
  23. Not for anything that I own, I can always get another one or something similar.
