  1. Personally I go with AGMs. There are no lithium battery manufacturing companies in America. There also seems to be some sketchy ones on the market so I am taking a pass on them. I am replacing my 5 year old trolling motor batteries tomorrow.
  2. One thing I never want to do is break the line setting the hook so I keep mine loose enough to slip on a hard hook set but tight enough to bury the hook. I can always add more drag with digit pressure.
  3. Same here in MO for many years. We saw one when I was a kid. Everyone poopooed us.
  4. Your engine specs are for minimum cca. Get a bigger cranking battery, group 29 or 31 if they will fit.
  5. Yep split tail. I pour them to match the bait.
  6. I think you will like it. My daughter got me one for Father’s Day. I liked it well enough to get a second one. They are my designated spinnerbait reels.
  7. Clear water and sunshine...Firecracker Cloudy...Golden Shiner Dingy water...Bleeding Shad All around...White
  8. I keep bar bait in my sheds and barn for rodents.
  9. Regular brush hogs on a swing jig is a great combination.
  10. Boga grip.
  11. They stay on until I lose the bait which is often considering where I throw them.
  12. If you have to pull the carpet, lacquer thinner should loosen the glue so you can take it back then replace it when you are ready.
  13. It’s just a way to get salt on your carpet.
  14. Air temps can vary in a short distance. A couple of days ago I saw a 6° drop from 37° to 31° in just one mile.
  15. I try them. If they need it then I will. If they don’t then I won’t.

Got my second one two weeks ago. All is good.
  17. I use a Curado X70 with a Gloomis Bronzeback ml with 6# fluorocarbon line for Ned rigs. It works with TRDs and 3/16 oz heads.
  18. Here in MO we can get a sheriff’s title if all else fails.
  19. I only lock mine in the winter if I go to a seldom used ramp. Other times I back the trailer into a spot until my tires are tight against the concrete barrier at the end of that spot. My trailer is a heavy tandem. Good luck getting it out and away from the truck.
  20. My insurance covers the boat, trailer and electronics. I have a separate writer for my tackle.
  21. I only use 1/2 oz spinner baits. I like my 843c rods for spinner baits better than my 844cs.
  22. You might want to go over to the Bass Pro Shop in Council Bluffs and talk to one of the guys in electronics.
  23. I have no way of knowing which is best since I only own one brand, Shimano.
  24. That shows your skill level for consistent temps and consistent pressure when injecting.
  25. I don’t have a choice in my port side locker. If I didn’t use rod socks I would be tearing up guides all of the time. I also us them in the starboard side as I pile rods in it and the socks keep them from getting tangled. I have several duplicate setups. I use the same color socks to help me quickly identify them.
