  1. They stay on until I lose the bait which is often considering where I throw them.
  2. If you have to pull the carpet, lacquer thinner should loosen the glue so you can take it back then replace it when you are ready.
  3. It’s just a way to get salt on your carpet.
  4. Air temps can vary in a short distance. A couple of days ago I saw a 6° drop from 37° to 31° in just one mile.
  5. I try them. If they need it then I will. If they don’t then I won’t.

Got my second one two weeks ago. All is good.
  7. I use a Curado X70 with a Gloomis Bronzeback ml with 6# fluorocarbon line for Ned rigs. It works with TRDs and 3/16 oz heads.
  8. Here in MO we can get a sheriff’s title if all else fails.
  9. I only lock mine in the winter if I go to a seldom used ramp. Other times I back the trailer into a spot until my tires are tight against the concrete barrier at the end of that spot. My trailer is a heavy tandem. Good luck getting it out and away from the truck.
  10. My insurance covers the boat, trailer and electronics. I have a separate writer for my tackle.
  11. I only use 1/2 oz spinner baits. I like my 843c rods for spinner baits better than my 844cs.
  12. You might want to go over to the Bass Pro Shop in Council Bluffs and talk to one of the guys in electronics.
  13. I have no way of knowing which is best since I only own one brand, Shimano.
  14. That shows your skill level for consistent temps and consistent pressure when injecting.
  15. I don’t have a choice in my port side locker. If I didn’t use rod socks I would be tearing up guides all of the time. I also us them in the starboard side as I pile rods in it and the socks keep them from getting tangled. I have several duplicate setups. I use the same color socks to help me quickly identify them.
  16. I will only be using Elaztech products from Zman and Strike King in every color that I can find.
  17. Mine only come off if they have to be sent in for repairs. I carry full replacement non deductible theft and vandalism insurance.
  18. Lookin good. Are you using a blending block or laminate plate?
  19. I use fluorocarbon for everything except Arigs.
  20. Parallel is a jumper wire running from + of battery A to + of battery B and a jumper wire running from - of battery A to - of battery B. Then hook the trolling motor to either battery. Series is a jumper wire running from the + of either battery to the - of the other battery. Then hook the trolling motor to the remaining terminals.
  21. W2S knows what he is talking about. A 24 volt uses only half of what a 12 volt uses to make the same thrust. If I were going to set up a jon it would be 24 volt 70# +- and I would be looking for a trailer.
  22. I like to use thread and put a couple of light wraps to hold the skirt while I position it. Then put the wire in place, pull the thread, and cinch the wire down. That is a lot easier for me than messing with a collar.
  23. I got tired of messing with collars and tired of them rotting. I switched to wire tying my jigs a long time ago.
  24. Less than 20’ use 1/4 oz.
  25. Don’t put wet baits in boxes.
