Issues with floro on Baitcasters
I imagine that it is the way you have the reel set. I use fluorocarbon in sizes 6#, 10#, 12#, 15# and 20# on my bait casting reels. The thicker line casts a little shorter is all that I see.

Spinnerbait vs Jig n Spinner
I guess I live in the wrong part of the country. I’m not familiar with the jig and spinner. Are you referring to a Whiz jig?

Need Advice For Pouring Weight
You didn’t specify what kind of weight. Do-It makes all kinds of molds. They may have what you are wanting. If it is something that Barlow’s carries they are often cheaper than Do-It. There are various types of melting pots. You can get bottom pours or units that you dip out with a ladle. The latter is the most trouble free and probably least expensive. I am personally only familiar with bottom pours. I have a Lee and a RCBS. The Lee is prone to rusting and clogging but is inexpensive. I used it for 20 years making thousands of jigs but also cleaning it regularly and replacing worn out parts. The RCBS is a super unit but costs a lot more money. I have only had it a few years but it has performed flawlessly. I hope this is what you wanted.

Ark rod reviews needed
That sounds like a quality control item. I haven’t been there in over a year with this Covid thing. I’m not sure who is running it now. I was told that owner was having some memory issues. His wife, daughter or son in law may be managing now.

Rod Threading Device Report
We had a conversation a couple of years ago about threading rods. I was in need of something so I bought one. I use it all the time. I find it to be a very useful tool. The reason I am posting now is I mishandled one of the bobbins and broke it. I went to their web site to order more and noticed that the RTD is on sale. It is 1/3 off the normal price if any of you are interested. It has really helped these old eyes.

Recommended boat cover
I had a custom cover made for my Champion when I bought it. It was still in good shape 14 years later when I sold the boat.

I have 5 of their products in the boat right now. They are rigged with Arig (2), wiggle wart, shaky worm, and buzz bait. Most of them will see action tomorrow.

Fuse Box Help
For the best performance of electronics and reducing interference they should be wired directly to the cranking battery with the inline fuse provided with the unit.

How long do u wait to upgrade gear?
I used to sell my Curados when new models were available until the E series came out. I can’t part with them. It was the same with rods until I bought some Gloomis rods.

6lb mono on 1000 sized reel
I use 6# line on my 1000 and 2000 reels. I have too many break offs with 4#. I only use two lines, Pline original mono and Seaguar fluorocarbon.

I’d find a rod builder, repair or fly shop and have it done right.

Launching and loading the boat without waders or wet feet (video)
Your methods work for sure. However there is an age limit to that method, and I am regrettably past it. I only launch where a courtesy is provided. I launch with a rope and load so that I can step out of the boat onto the dock.

What package/model/engine should I get on a F150?
Last year I was making the decision on a new truck. I had a Ford F250 and wanted a 150. My boat is a glass with tandem axles weighing in at around 4500 #. Ford and I couldn’t reach an agreement so I wound up with a Chevy 1500. I settled on the 5 litre V8 with a 3.23 rear end. It does a great job pulling up and down these Ozark hills. Without the boat it gets 22 to 25 mpg.

EXPERIENCED BASS BOAT OWNERS NEEDED
I can not follow your boat/car logic. Beginning quality and routine maintenance are the factors that will reduce expenses on a used boat. If it were used like it was stolen and not maintained it will be a pita. My last motor was a 225 Mercury Optimax. It was 14 years old and in great shape as was my Champion when I traded it off.

Shimano Warranty
I just pay for the expedited service and things get done in a few days. I’ve also had great service on Fenwick HMGs.
