I don't get poison ivy, my biggest enemy is chiggers. People say they only attack the ankles.....BS. lol My wife gets poison so bad that she can't be around burning brush with poison in it, the smoke gets her, seriously.
  2. Heck, that's a super fish in Florida and Texas, nice ?
  3. Just setup in my driveway. Lol
  4. Gobblers every morning here, got lots of them. Turkeys on back burner though for prespawn bass. Lol Good luck ?
  5. T-Mobile is big here, what I have. Reception in the mountains and valley are very good.

Welcome sir, South Florida is a fishermans dream.
  8. Here's another issue that we run into living in tick country. We keep the dog marinated in front line, he runs around in the woods all day, jumps in the bed at night and ticks are deployed late at night looking for untreated victims.......WIFE AND I. ?
  9. Oooops, started a new thread when we already had this one. Lol Swim jig bite was on today.
  10. Yes A-Jay, I was blessed with some great fish today.
  11. Got on a remote 50 acre lake in WV around 11am this morning, not a soul. Cloudy with air temp at 44*, water temp at 45* with a calm southerly breeze. Deer running everywhere and my buddy said " this is a good sign ". Lol Started out with jerkbaits and Spinnerbaits as usual but no interest. Went to a swim jig and on 3rd cast a momma full of eggs so stayed with it. Turned out to be super fun day.
  12. As expensive as they are, submit to your insurance company and perhaps a body shop can reconstruct ?
  13. I'm still using Frontline on my dog simply because it works. Yes, I keep hearing about the pills but guess I'm old school.......if it ain't broke.....
  14. I've had a speed clip failure on a really nice Bass. During the fight, Spinnerbait worked it's way out of the clip as I was attempting to net fish. I mostly direct tie these days but do have a jerkbait setup that I use these without a failure. They are tiny, have a 50# rating and do not compromise the baits action.
  15. I'm waiting for water temps to get into upper 50's. I'm batting about.300 in 2022
  16. Wow, crafty buggers. But yes, if you have dogs they can invade the bed at night, I know.
  17. My wife loves to fish but to much maintenance is involved for me to get into a zone so I just troll her around for pan fish. No way can I seriously pursue Bass with my wife aboard, prefer silence.
  18. Had to Google " tiny child rig " and it does exist. It's what you'd get if a Ned rig bred with a Neko rig, interesting.
  19. Some great photos of beautiful dogs. Oh, does grass ever appear there ?
  20. This is why I don't spend $30 on a bait...... keeps me dry ?
  21. Our local water temps dropped back into the mid 40's ☹️
  22. I use a leader the length of my rod. Spinning - 8lb Sunline sniper Casting - 12lb Sunline sniper
  23. 3 fish spitting the hook is as good as 1 in the boat ?
  24. My youngest daughter ( 23 ) had lime disease. A circle formed around the bite, she ran to ER for an antibiotic and all has been well. The key is, you have to act.
  25. No way to avoid them here but you can slow them down with Deet. I've had 4 and 5 ticks at a time burrowed in various places. I've heard good things about permethrin, haven't tried it. Keep an eye out for a circle to form around the bite, an indication of lime disease. Oh forgot to mention, we have mostly deer ticks.
