We’ve been creek chasing some browns the past week with the temps at 32-45. To cold for the kayaks out on the lakes. Pretty much all the same size 10-12” but I’ve seen two that are closer to 18” I was called a cheater because we use spin rods with spinners

That’s what I did. Poured lead, painted and made skirts. I still have more jigs then I can use in ten years

I found this Legend Tournament 7’1” MF casting rod on Craigslist for $80. Go to look at it and the reel seat is upside down. I tell him that and he says oops I just reglued it with gorilla glue. It hadn’t hardened up yet so I put it in place like it should be. Thanks to the guys in Rod Building section it’s now fixed. I wasn’t planning on buying it and then we started talking. Come to find out he was so down on his luck he was selling it for food money. He just lost his son 6 months ago ( I lost my son 2 years ago) and brought his daughter in-law and 3 kids into his home while he has no job because of the shut downs. So I bought it. So what is a MF Legend rod good for? I was hoping to use it with heavier dropshot setup but I’m not sure after handling it.
