Lizards
They are magic here. Zoom 6” lizard both weightless and or Texas rigged. If the color is greenish and or says watermelon in its description it will make you into the lizard king!!! ? @Bluebasser86 interesting that you don’t care for them, have you ever gave them a fair shake and no luck or just too many good lures already getting it done?

Any interest in trapping?
I can’t recall if I already mentioned this if so excuse my bad memory but I’ve had squirrels (I assume) freeze to death in live traps over night with temps in upper 30’s lower 40’s. Curled up in a lil ball as if asleep. Is this a thing and do you ever provide any pine straw or bedding for critters you intend to release? I’d never thought a squirrel would freeze to death in upper 30’s lower 40’s but I guess the lack in insulation due to the cold cage steel. Thoughts?

That’s a trophy for a flying squirrel. Skunks are bad dudes when cornered, did you survive? How did the end play out?

How many carry while out fishing in the boat.
As my buddy Mike Dundee said on the subject… Well, Barramundi is a bloody big fish.

I don’t care how much you seasoned or battered a mole, I’m not thinking it that tasty ?

Double buzzbait differences?
You seen the double whopper plopper buzzbait? It floats. Which makes it good on sloppy weedy places. Bass bite it.

Any interest in trapping?
I was not impressed with what my .177 did to a crow. I’d imagine it would be head shots only. I’d like to have a .22 caliber air rifle to try Have you tried the old small conibears attached to a tree with peanut butter marshmallow trick? You can attach your coni to a board and strap to trees to prevent tree harm if necessary

Psychological Help Needed
I have given your dream serious consideration. I feel that your fishing conscious (all fishermen have one of these) is telling you something. I think you have been spending money on things that aren’t that important and you could have been using that money on lures. So stop wasting your money on family members, food and other stuff and get to a tackle store asap.

Light Texas rig-bead or no bead?
I tried beads, nothing significant occurred, I no longer use beads… it didn’t seem to impact the TR either way.

Any interest in trapping?
Around here they refer to the larvae as wolves. Old timers would throw away a squirrel with one. I recall reading that Indians up north after killing a caribou would squeeze out bot fly larvae first from their kill as an appetizer, yum yum. I usually only cut away the piece affected. Mostly it’s around the neck or maybe ruining a ham. I’d say you’ll see one on average of 1 in 10 squirrels killed here where I am. Warbles to warvles to warvs to wolves must been the transition of speak here in south eastern Ky
