This is the "biggest" bait I throw. I have been trying to get into big glides but my lack of patience for it keeps me from being successful at it.

Hank Parker is the absolute picture of a southern gentlemen. TBH I was a little starstruck when I met him for the first time a few years back but he is surprisingly easy to talk to. Makes you feel like your talking to your Grandpa and not a fishing legend.

Only bass I don't eat is largemouth and smallmouth. Whenever I go to visit my dad on lake cumberland. He likes crappie but I am expected to keep all spotetd bass and bring them home for the fish fry(which we get alot of with minnows for crappie). I usually don't keep anything unless a family member requests fish then I will go out and try to "Minner up some Crappie" as my old man puts it. Of all the fish I've had local I like White Perch. It takes alot of them to make a good meal but they are pretty tasty to me.

I was there today!

My boat dealership where I got my boat had their open house today so I figured I'd go down and get me some gear. They had TATSU for 20 bucks a box but only had 6lb left by the time I got there. 10 bucks a box on abrazx and invisx and lots of custom lure guys there. I picked up some finesse jigs, a few bladed jigs and some plastics I've been needing. I write and shoot right handed but I do everything else lefty(bat, golf, etc). I can't fish with a left handed reel to save my soul. I even flip my spinning reels over to the right side.

6 degrees up here on the mountain this morning and my arthritis is letting me know about it. Sitting on the heating pad with a hot cup of coffee and a beautiful woman and that's about as far as I'm going to day.

Feeble attempt at humor I guess. I'll go back to my corner now.

I buy Abu round reels. I've got probably 30 or so functional ones and probably 50 or so in a bucket that needs parts or reworked.

The 80s called. They want their fishing rod back lol. In all actuality what part of NC are you in? I am in WNC. I have a Zebco Rhino M/H with a pistol grip you can have. It's a 5'6 but it's yours if you want it.

I adjust my hookset more for what type of bait I'm using. Trebles get a sweep and single hooks get the vertical. Now jigs, well they get the social media hookset or SMH as I like to call it. You know the hookset where you try to pull his butt through his forehead? Use the power of the almighty to realign the planets gravitational field with the force of your rod?😂

I'll be getting a largemouth tattoo this year and I even talked the wife into getting a small one on her.

Yeah the wife put the kibosh on the show. She said she actually likes me enough to want me around a little longer and my life insurance hasn't matured yet so I'm staying home.

It's not good. I like The Strike game from Bass pro. At least that game you can see the action on your lure. In the bassmaster game your lure is not even animated.
