Happy to report that I’ve been able to start lifting regularly again light-ish with my hurt shoulder. I still deal with some pain and discomfort and expect it to continue for some time but nowadays if I wanted to lift, fish, and cook all in the same evening, that is not out of the question Done it multiple times already. My pain level is much lower than it used to be with high tolerance for activity. So I’ve got some use and function and hope it increases over time and then I can get an idea of what the long term outlook of my shoulder is. Another doctor’s opinion should help too. And I’m with @GaryH, you never stop @A-Jay!

I’m with ya! Not the most fun… weightless senkos are my least favorite but also something I will lean on to get bites sometimes. I fished a Texas rig and jig a lot more this year than in years past though and hope to keep that going

Not having a single colorado in your collection is like not having pliers in your tool kit. Trust me on this one, and I’ll trust you on the lipless. A different blade combo might work better for you at different times, but not having a single colorado makes the collection incomplete. All this hype around double willows and willow/colorado saying its the only spinnerbaits you need is hurting people. Just ask the bait monkey, lol. But seriously, single colorado is old school, and old school still catches fish. If I want a big bass in the cold water period, a single colorado will at the very least be tied on.

I’ll be throwing it more but you gotta follow through on your idea to make your 2023 grind the spinnerbait. Find a cloudy day in the prespawn or right now and throw a single colorado. Booyah covert’s will work fine

I’m just sayin… I don’t like hardbaits as much anymore and I very much dislike treble hooks but when long-time, expert fishermen like @Catt and @Dwight Hottle both have their PBs off of lipless even withstanding how much Catt talks about Texas rigs and jigs and Mr. Hottle’s success with jerkbaits… yeah that just says something to me. I’m gonna keep trying to catch fish on lipless

Hey y’all, When do you like a lighter lipless? Talking 1/4oz or below Got some to try from Black Friday sales. My thought is that in the winter a lighter weight on yo-yo retrieve might produce better. Thoughts?
