What's that clickin' noise?
BigRickRolled, The sound is the bail kick lever hitting the ramp on the frame. The bail return kick lever (a rod under the cover) is not returning to it's proper place after the bail kicks over. It is supposed to move freely in and out. I'll bet there is grease that is getting sticky and old. Easy fix. Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!

Bent Reel handle
He will never get it back exactly as it was. We straighten cranks all the time when they come in, but they are never exactly the same as when first manufactured. Even at that they are still usable. Would be no different if you had taken a fall and bent the handle. Tight Lines!!!

Lovin these old school ABU Round Reels; Issues with drag on older model 5000c
Yup put a set in my black 5001C from 85, they have got some grip and are smooth, no need to lube. Just got a sample set of ABEC5 teflon's to try out going to put them in one of my CU201's. Tight Lines All!!
