  1. Normally I would agree. But I’ve owned three of those. 100% fails. All three would max charge to 12.01 volts. Around there. I still have two I use to run a tiny LED light string. (At camp) Even new they ran a 73 series fush finder for a day max.
  2. thanks for telling us this. nice you knew your body well enough to tell something was not right. I'm stoked you advocated for yourself.
  3. that person can skip a bait awesome.. I dont watch her videos.
  4. sorry, I don't have a pic. I THINK is a gps thing? something to tell the fish finder GPS which end is the front of the boat?
  5. multi meter for sure. that is my first move for anything electric. my Dakota Lithium can sit for months and not even fart down a blip of juice.
  6. I got this downtown Tokyo. it's okay. I then went into a big store and saw all sorts of cool things, but that ship sailed with my purchase. Pic - it was not expensive
  7. my friend near you in MN has a Tat-300 doing the exact same thing. weird. none of my Daiwas have had that event.
  8. I never even knew sealing cork was a thing until I logged into this forum. I love my rods, all of them, but I dont LOOOOVVVEEE my rods. they are beloved tools in my life. tools.
  9. as a kayaker I agree...simply being able to move a distance that doesn't require 5000 calories. hahha.. having said that, my cardio health is off the charts.
  10. I dont over think a fish fight. I just kinda react and do the opposite of what the fish wants me to do. I am not mucking that up by thinking about it.
  11. 100%. Not feeling it. im driving to Texas to hunt some land my brother bought. He’s stoked im coming. Me, im going more to show interest in his purchase. I’ll shoot a hog and bring it back on ice. Bringing a bud to help pay for fuel. No backing out now. im tired and would love to relax at home before Christmas.
  12. I would put them all for sale and stop and pull the advertisement, the moment the number of vacancies get to where you need it.
  13. Save them for what? Yo sell to the next person? id fish it hard.
  14. First thing when I got home was a test fit! now to deal with the jet lag.
  15. Here is the option in Japan for a 2500 Vanford.
  16. I kept screen shots of digitaka images to show the salesman in Japan. I figured we would have a language barrier. Turns out saying “Vanford” gets the job done. The salesman told me I was going to get a better price than my screenshot images depicted. I got the latest exchange rate when I checked my CC. Digitaka is still the company I will use when I get home. I’m okay with the paying the vig.
  17. My friend bought a Zillion HD and it’s soooooo nice!!
  18. Bait-monkey blew into my ear, “hey, let’s check out another Japanese tackle shop tomorrow, okay?” right! I’ll tell the wife!
  19. I’m in Tokyo right now. Should walk into a tackle shop manana. Konichwah! I’m picking up a Vanford 2500 for a good buddy who never takes $ from me when he hosts our annual camping trip. He’ll take a reel, I suspect. It’s been three years of camping and I never pay much. I think he prefers the small handle of the old ci4 Stradic. Hope it’s the one.
  20. The feds run our dams. Most of them. and rain raises water levels. My friend is army corp of engineers and it’s a method they utilize. and every major watershed in CA has a huge reservoir. A new one is about to go in. But most viable locations are covered.
  21. at least they are closing for the best of reasons. congrats to them!!!
  22. the inflatables are awesome. but for me it is a numbers game. I own one, and wear it 100% if I am on a boat. I bring my own, since I dont trust someone to maintain it like I would. I was on a party boat recently and I had the only one on the whole time. boat full of construction dudes so they did rib me occasionally. but I give zero foxs what another person thinks or does. on my kayak, I wear a foam one. I LOVE IT. I KNOW it will float me. 100%. a kayak, especially on the beach is a wet ride. hahah. having said that. I fish with a stubborn dude. he is obese. his foam PFD, he cant get tight enough without it being uncomfy. so he bought an inflatable. not the HIT version. his first beach launch, I hope to get on video. hahah..it will inflate for sure. he doesnt believe me. I suggested he get a luggage repair guy to add some straps that go around his crouch, like a climbers harness..I get it. foam ones are made to fit not everyone. google a few videos of people falling-out of a kayak and the vest doenst inflate. there are some good ones. one dude had to hug a pier and yell for help.
