  1. No officer, I am just trying to catch a crappie. An 11" Suick is perfect for it, really.
  2. Not really. Crappie and sunnie's bite all walleye live bait techniques and that season is open. Not really. Crappie and sunnie's bite all walleye live bait techniques and that season is open. Not really. Crappie and sunnie's bite all walleye live bait techniques and that season is open.
  3. Super early I expect that. I've spent a lot of openers whacking thin overnight ice off of some really Northern lakes and the big pike are always sunning themselves up in the shallows. Catching a bunch of 30"+ fish in a canoe is a blast. Gorgeous fish Andy.
  4. Floridians however ruin the state for everyone. Boat is rigged and ready to go. Tomorrow has been a long time coming!
  5. I am dying to try the Garmin or Lowrance. The Terrova and other "digital" pedals are awful. Absolutely zero control. Moving in X degree increments drives me nuts. If it weren't for spot lock I'd even pull my Ultrex and get one without the motor as I don't like the lag and the way it turns. It isn't awful like the other MG or MK I've tried though. As stated above, whatever one you pick I would definitely match up the graphs as well. Integration is a glorious thing.
  6. You left out LC's which makes AB look like htey serve horse fodder.
  7. It's been brutal to have a new toy in the garage and not being able to use it. Saturday that changes!
  8. Representation of what is available around here. All 17' or 18' machines, considering the length I'd be prone to a tiller but either way there are options. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/boa/d/stacy-1998-alumacraft-tournament-pro/7320798905.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/d/fort-dodge-lund-explorer-1700/7320332637.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/bod/d/rush-city-2000-alumacraft-tournament/7312758688.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/d/chaska-2011-alumacraft-165-classic/7308887900.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/d/fort-dodge-lund-explorer-1700/7320332637.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/boa/d/elk-river-lund-pro-1775/7319378727.html https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/d/elk-river-lund-pro-1775/7310153589.html
  9. They must not catch fish ?
  10. They have little kit brackets to hold them. Super easy even without a ton of knowledge. Mechanical aptitude needed of course, but if you are willing to wire your own sonar or trolling motor it isn't all that much more complicated.
  11. It sounds great to me. Where do I sign up. I was happy with one, but when he made it plural...
  12. It's really pretty easy. Ebikes only get sold in 750w form...I am a hp nut, so 7000w seemed more logical. Only way to get there without wasting money is to make your own batteries. My cost on the parts are about what an Ionic costs to buy though so for normal boat use it isn't worth it. When you are limited in space though then it surely is.
  13. Same blood, but it is really hard for me to burn. Makes it hard to remember to be responsible. I am already darker than everyone around me and I haven't spent any time in the sun yet. Mid winter I am white.
  14. That or buy a battery welder and make your own packs from 18650's.
  15. I like plural women and fishing
  16. Yeah, I only paid for my hardbaits. Sure I have about 10,000 days of live bait fishing into it, but I don't want to buy live bait either. And keeping it alive sucks. The gas station 1mi from my house has at least 5 varities of minnows, leeches, wax worms, earth worms included colored ones and some other live stuff I've never even looked at. That being said, I am going to buy some shiners for this weekend. On a river and when I stop for some lunch I will pull a few minnows for walleye. I don't ice fish so it'snearly a year since I've had a walleye sandwich.
  17. Nice. New boat day is my favorite day.
  18. Considering your location and the water is so cold, if I wanted a fish fry I'd go catch a few northerns. Out of cold water they eat great and are super easy to catch and the littler ones need to be thinned out.
  19. Caught a bait drop. Most expensive lure I've ever purchased:
  20. Should try their new thin glass, super light. Almost returned my first pair as I was sure they were plastic when picking them up.
  21. Well, I've never bought one, nor thrown one...you guys aren't making me want to spend the dough either.
  22. No, he asked what he should look at for bass/catfish. Something from 3/8-1oz lure weight of course depending on what he is expecting the catfish he is targeting to be size wise.
  23. I've seen jets that can run in almost no water and others that need a ton. Depends on your boat.
