  1. ...but SOMETIMES....something other than a bass gets on there.
  2. I like a chartreuse and white skirt in 3/8 1/2. But when Im on the river...something about that 1/4 oz white that Kentucky bass just hate.
  3. @A-Jay...you got three empty spots in that one box.
  4. Welcome to Bass Resource
  5. I remember one Memorial Day weekend. I put in at Fate Sanders Marina on Percy Priest Lake. I look out on the lake and it was a total freakin mad house of boats. So I thought ...I'll just go into the back of the cove. (Fate Sanders is in a cove). I ended up catching about 30 bass that day... BUT...I was standing on the shoulders of giants that day. It was the 1972 Bass Masters Classic that Don Butler won. He was fishing his spinner bait called the Small Okiebug...in the back of Fate Sanders Cove. BASS MASTERS CLASSICS 1 TO 10
  6. Obviously forgotten knowledge...
  7. One day while fishing the bridge at N. Salty (Goose Pond Guntersville) we noticed a wildlife officer on the bridge looking through binoculars. Well...he was looking at a bunch of people we knew (who were on a golf trip) fishing off the dock. He said, "You know those guys? You think they got licenses?" I just kept fishin. He goes over and writes em all tickets ($200 each).
  8. I dont use any glue on knots...but I do use the UV glue on other stuff where I need it set up fast.
  9. I like a full grip on shorter handles.
  10. Those reel seats come with an optional Bushido Insert...it would take up that space.
  11. You never know how bad the other maps suck until you see the ones from the Corp.
  12. One solution is to quit taking selfies of every fish you catch...especially if its small. Trow it back ASAP and get on with the next cast.
  13. 1: 7' MedHeavy baitcasting rod for flippin and pitchen 2: 7' Med spinning rod for cranking and other stuff 3: 6'6" Med spinning Ned and Slider rod. ...but would dearly miss the other 10 rods...
  14. I like a bait that's been chewed on a bit...then it gets remelted. My wading tackle box consisted of an old Trilene box that fit in the back pocket of my jeans. Only room for a set number of Sliders...they would go from 4 inch and get reduced in 1/4 inch increments though out the day.
  15. One disadvantage of a high end rod is you get to second guessing weather you should boat flip a fish or not.
  16. This is a typical technique of foraging fish: bass, crappie, stripe, hybrids...etc..etc. They run the bait up shallow where, at that point, there is nowhere else to go.
  17. Might just be Lunkerhunt Kraken Series...possibly an older model. Pin on Lure making & Airbrushing (pinterest.com)
