  1. Why stop there...Torzite Titanium is the top shelf.
  2. I recently put a set of these stainless steel guides on an old glass rod...these guides are super light. CRB SSR Light-Medium Duty Spinning Guides - Model VXG (mudhole.com) But...If your gonna send the $$ on a blank like the good one @casts_by_fly suggested then I would spend some bucks on guides too...at least alconite. I also like the Fuji Fazlite...that blue ceramic is pretty cool. Fuji K-Series Double-Foot Casting & Spinning Guides Model KW - Fazlite (mudhole.com)
  3. @Delaware Valley Tackle You would use a syringe without the needle...just like you do when you measure epoxy. @MickD Agree about the Permagloss....that stuff will cure inside the bottle.
  4. Immediately the first thing I noticed about the Washington Monument is that about a third of the way up the blocks look different. Construction began in 1848 and was set unfinished from 1854 - 1877. It definitely has a storied past...
  5. Just when I thought I had that bait monkey off my back....I got into making my own baits...and love it.
  6. Love, love, love it...I will also use a black and blue jig with the blue chunk Jr.
  7. Yes...by all means inject with a syringe...it will certainly fix it. I have done something similar with a reel seat.
  8. You could use epoxy. Drill a hole where you think there's a void. Buy an epoxy that will not be viscus. (these usually take some time to set up). So a not so viscus epoxy will run (pour) into the hole...you can keep injecting/pouring it until its full. let it set (hole up) overnight. Nest day - If there is a small void you can fill it with just about anything to fill a viod. Ideally it would be cork shavings and wood glue or epoxy.
  9. Sometime things get bumped around in the boat...or in the car.
  10. I was also at the Hollow yesterday...Star Point and caught these two largejaws....what makes these a little more special is I caught them on a hand made glide-bait.
  11. Harry and Charlie was written by Don Wirth and illustrated by Cliff Shelby. Don is actually in the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame. Don Wirth - The Bass Fishing Hall Of Fame (bassfishinghof.com)
  12. @MickD "...only pawn in game of life."
  13. Yes...a little more beef. The light duty will be enough for bass.
  14. The CRB SSR Match will do just fine...light duty will work.
  15. How'd he get out of the house with that?
  16. Use your topo map...and run where its deep. You can always follow the old river and creek channels.
  17. I have a Triton(TN) 176 Magnum(aluminum) Earl Bentz design performance hull and it weighs 1400lbs. Longitude and latitude stringers...a total beast. The TR175 (glass) weighs 1200lbs. The only real problem I have with aluminum is that it can get hot on a summer day.
  18. There's two times a year to plant grass: September and next September.
  19. Look at Xpress Vj series https://xpressboats.com/jon/
