  1. I always have a spinner bait and Rattle Trap tied on....but it really depends on the lake and the season.
  2. Glide bait...
  3. That Manns Razorback was the best crank bait made. Back then...other cranks were notorious for not running straight.
  4. I would just wrap that end with thread (about an inch) and finish the thread with epoxy. Then see if it will stay connected as a two piece rod...if not then just epoxy it into a one piece.
  5. Humpback Rebel "Humpy"
  6. Sauger, rock fish, crappie, bluegill, trout, catfish, stripe, hybrid, walleye.
  7. The blank and the guides are the bulk of the cost...plus made in USA. What exact blank is it?
  8. @Cemal Aydogan That is just a foil application...not air brushing. Jann's NetCraft calls it reflector tape
  9. Welcome...feel free to contact me about fishing in Middle Tennessee. Plenty of smallies in Wilson, Wheeler...etc
  10. ^10...love it.
  11. First fish of the year! Partner had one go 3.
  12. What I like to do is go fishing more. You have to come to the conclusion that some days/weeks/years are better than others.
  13. Welcome to the forum.
  14. In Tennessee its a class "B" Misdemeanor...which can carry a six month jail sentence and/or $500 fine.
  15. It should be on the bottom in the middle at the back. There is also the possibility that its missing.
  16. I just recently watch The Beatles Get Back...all I can say is "mind blown". Spoiler alert...Billy Preston is the fifth Beatle. This was watched while on vacation...on the trip home I played this and just got totally giddy.
  17. I think the guides I've seen come out weren't wrapped with very much tension in the first place.
  18. I have to agree...to a point. Sometimes when a guide gets bent and bent back...it can come loose and be able to pull out of the thread.
  19. If you have ever had to strip the guides off a rod you would know that thread without and CP is way harder to remove...its like concreate. So ...yes it is by far a better bond for the guide. When you use color preserver...its seals the thread and doesnt let the epoxy seep down to the guide foot. Using CP will make your thread look like what it looks like on the spool...and it just a tad bit lighter vs thread with no CP at all. Each way has its merits. Over the years I personally have opted to use no CP....and tend to use a lighter color thread (since it will eventually go dark)
