  1. I literally carry two colors: White and black
  2. Good grief. That's a heck of a bag for up north
  3. I would say there is a difference. If you drag you are changing up the action because the lure will fall when you go to reel up the slack. If you slow reel the action never really changes. I fish both ways and some days they like the slow reel and somedays they like the drag it just depends.
  4. What he said. I don't have any electronics but I use crankbaits quite often. I also don't fish huge lakes either.
  5. I did the exact same thing a couple times. Now I don't even set the hook I just reel and keep pressure.
  6. I would go along with what some other people said. Every lake is different. The lakes you're fishing might have an abundance of bream or shad so the bass might be keyed in on those. I would try switching for sure. Also the pressured water might have something to do with it.
  7. That's a good idea. I've never heard of that.
  8. I would agree
  9. Lipless crank, dark colored artificial worm, spinnerbait with a colorado blade, or white paddletail swimbait.
  10. I'm nervous about my Bengals this year (although I'm more of a Joe Burrow fan bc I love LSU). They went under the radar and peaked at the perfect time. Now they're going to get everyone's best shot. Their offensive line might be better on paper, but if that tackle they got from the Cowboys who is injury prone gets hurt, they'll be in the exact same position they were last year.
  11. Love it It lets me "decompress" some
  12. It hasn't "happened" yet in my area. I would say in a week or so I should start seeing them on bed. Bed fishing for bluegill is one of my favorite kinds of fishing, especially when the big males are active.
  13. It is chatterbaits for me. I don't like fishing with those things but I do well in the winter with them.
  14. For bass it is the whopper plopper for sure
  15. April and October are my favorite months to fish hands down
  16. Welcome! I like your profile pic btw haha Wooooo!
  17. I noticed it sank a little slower and had a more dramatic "wobble".
  18. Lately, I've been slaying largemouth on wacky rigged stickbaits. I ran out of stickbaits on my last trip and found an old bag of trick worms in my tackle bag. I ended up catching more on those trick worms than I was on the stickbaits. Does anyone normally wacky rig trick worms? And if so would you take them over a stickbait?
  19. Same here
  20. I would focus on the the creeks. That works well for me in a small lake around me. I don't catch huge fish but have caught some decent ones doing this. I've been doing well on a zoom u-vibe speed worm texas rigged. (fished shallow)
  21. I do well in the winter with them and we don't have perch anywhere near me.
  22. What he said
