  1. For frogs, you want a high speed reel, the SC by far. I also prefer High Speed for jigs too, so I have a HS reel on my frog/jig rod.
  2. Most collapsable rods are 6ft with a few going 5'6 and what not.
  3. G.Loomis GLX MBR844C / Shimano Curado 100d - $555.
  4. No, I guess that should have been my first attempt. Spent too much time on ebay/google. Thanks.
  5. I'm looking for a Revo STX Spare spool, anyone know where I can find one, or how much I should expect to pay?
  6. Get a telescoping flipping stick. I think they go down to about 6ft, which depending on your car, could fit easier, they might even go below 6ft. Not sure. If you get a real 2 piece, and throw a swimbait that tip might go flying with the bait.
  7. Right on man! Told you it would come!

    You've got balls ;D I snapped a few 3lbers on 6lb line, so I don't try that anymore.

I wouldn't throw ANY jig on 6lb line. Minimum would be 10 or 12lb line for a jig. Unless you're throwing crappie jigs..
  10. Drop this sissy cranks and fish for the bigguns like a man! Lol! I'm just playing with yah.
  11. I'll be the first to tell you, if 4bizz was gonna take his time to photo shop himself holding fish, he wouldn't waste his time photo shopping small fish like those. He'd only be holding 20lbers.
  12. Newly joined member as of March 17th. 12lbs 6oz
  13. Hopefully they will replace it for free. Worst case scenario is you have to pay $35, but that would be weak.
  14. I haven't fished the Patriarch , but have fished the STX Just what Micro said... If you need the drag, go with the STX, if not, it's a toss up IMO.
  15. I'll send all of my photos to you, so you can blur them out. I'm too poor to even illegally download PhotoShop. Paint all the way!
  16. I'll be happy with a Teen fish! When we going pontooning?! I got my toon and LOVE IT!
  17. There's really no need for a hard hookset with shaky head fishing. Shaky head and Drop shot, I reel in, and just pull up in one motion, not hard, by any means. They pretty much hook themselves. Still shouldn't have lost the fish though ,I've made some very "dramatic" hooksets while shaky head fishing without a lost fish.
  18. I'll give you 10 catchy names for 1 7'6 flippin stick!
  19. Seriously, 4Bizz isn't lying, Drop Shotting catches big fish! On the delta, I know of several 8-10lb fish caught on drop shots at the delta.
  20. Baitcasting or Spinning, and what types of baits are you planning on throwing with it...
  21. Braid also isn't very "tough" against rocks. There's other lines that are more abrasion resistant against rocks.
  22. The ebay stores sell them for $90 , it's the same price you'll end up paying in the store, but you'll have to wait a while for your rebate. Why not just spend the $90 now and not worry about getting your rebate... That's how I see it. I just ordered someone from Poor Fish yesterday. Haven't heard back so can't really let you know how his service is yet.
  23. There's the Bass Calculator on this site, under TackleBox. But you need the length and width, not sure if he got those. Also the calculator isn't always right, my experience is it's usually 1/2 pound off or so.
