Texas Flood

I'd like to think Im fairly accurate. I mean I got this 5.6lb bass the other day.

I was at a decent sized pond. Temp outside was in the 70s but winds were gusting up to 40mph.

First one of the year. Just a lil guy but it was nice to feel that tug again.

Yeah, he works from home and has a good size pond just down the street. Being able to fish during the weekdays would be awesome.

Brother in law sent me this while I'm stuck at work all day.

It'll be a high of 75 today and then drop down to 30 with a chance of snow tomorrow. I'll still go out this weekend.

More often than not, I bring two combos with me. One rod with braid and the other with fluoro. Those two have me covered for almost anything.

I wanted to see how fast an Omnia Fishing order was compared to TW. It took 10 days for my last TW order but only 4 for OF. I’m never in a huge rush when I normally get stuff, but it’s nice to know if I do need something sooner(with free shipping of course). I can. Also, you can’t beat free beef jerky!

With the ice gone, I have shifted all my attention to getting more baits.

I just got some Gubby Heads yesterday and they had Gamakatsu on the label.?‍♂️

I use the 1/8oz Gubby Head jig when I want to through small swimbaits. The hooks are sharp but they tend to bend easier than other brands.

I didnt know that was for bass. Always thought the opener was for walleye and pike.
