  1. I got asked last minute to go fish the boundary waters in a week but unfortunately cant get work off. I'm mainly bummed because we stopped going up to Gull Lake the last few years and I really miss fishing up there.
  2. Brother-in-law got this today when he was reeling in a small bass he got on a jig and luckily hooked the beast as it got the bass.
  3. I have one on my big jig/swimbait rod. I like it but I dont see much of a difference between that and my Zillion.
  4. Got this one trying out my new chatterbait/lipless rod.
  5. I have a 7'6 HF Falcon Cara rod for magdrafts. Ive only used it a couple of times, but I like how it handles swimbaits up to 2oz.
  6. I got swimmers itch once at Gull Lake and thought I was gonna itch myself to death. That stuff sucks.
  7. When I stop losing them on wood or in rocks, I’ll let you know.
  8. My Shimano Compre broke my fall and itself earlier this year on some rocks. I was quite sad since the rod is discontinued.
  9. Well luckily for me almost everything I got was 15% off.
  10. Already took advantage of TW 15% off.
  11. #12 Fluoro and for topwater I use #30 braid.
  12. When I first got into bass fishing, a Sweet Beaver was my trailer for just about everything. Even though my go to now is a RI Skinny Dipper, I will put on a SB when I want that craw presentation.
  13. If you are still looking for different trailers. I really like the Strike King Rage Tail Chunk and Reaction Innovation Spicy Beaver.
  14. I don't always do this but I'll put mayo and peanut butter on a burger. Its awesome!
  15. I really like the Lews KVD rod. Its my main jerkbait/river setup for spinning.
  16. For a podcast that's usually around 40 minutes, it seems like half the show is ads. I still listen every week but that would be my only gripe.
  17. Black/Blue or White/Chartreuse. I fish dirty water the majority of the time and those colors work best for me.
  18. Worked on the truck, wishing I was out fishing.
  19. Oh crap! Haha, whoops.
  20. I know the "If it was easy, everyone would do it" cliché is overused but I think its true when it comes to fishing in a tournament. Its a grind and takes a special mindset to overcome adversity.
  21. I'm an InvizX guy and I really havent had any issues. I did start using FC Sniper for lines above 15lbs because I think their bigger line is better.
  22. Thanks! Right now Ive been using 1/8oz but once the water levels go down, I'll probably switch to 1/16.
