You should make a trip to the St.Croix factory. I got a factory second Avid X for 100 bucks. The factory second rods I believe are at least half off when we were there.

I can't find any retailers near me who sell 6th sense, so I put in a small order to try out a couple items. With spring around the corner, I wanted some more craw patterns. The baits even came in a little re-usable 6th sense drawstring cloth baggie:

I have a wonderful ole lady!!!! Bought me 2 new rods today for no apparent reason other then she loves me. A 7'2 medium heavy falcon cara t7 Mike McClelland and a 7'6 lews medium heavy David fritts cranking stick. Lucky me ?

Just got my new crank bait setup today!! Got a Lews BB1 6.4:1 from cabelas. I spooled it up with P-Line floroclear 12lb. And tomorrow I'm receiving my new Dobyns Champion XP 684CB from Tackle Warehouse. I can't wait to test it out on our half unthawed reservoirs!! haha

Ill have to let ya know what I think about it when I get a chance to fling around a few crankbaits.

Got a lot better at skipping jigs and caught some nice fish doing it last year with a cheap old 7’ Berkeley Pro Signature rod. Excited to see what I can do with my new 6’9” Tatula Elite Andy Montgomery Skipping rod!

I was really surprised to find that the reel seat is not an exposed blank ?. For some reason I thought it was. I guess i’ll Find out how I like that

I stopped by my local Wal-Mart this morning and found a few boxes of heavily discounted lures. Found the 3 pack of Rebel Pop-rs for $3, War Eagle Finesse Spinnerbaits for $2, and Strike King 2 pk Spin Heads for $2 to name just a few. I walked out with all 7 War Eagle Spinnerbaits. I tried to upload a pic, but Ive had trouble doing that lately. 

These are about to be put back into circulation on lake Fork!

Good to know, the exposed blank was one of the reasons I went with the Tatula in the first place.

I won a big pike tournament with those exact ones (red) years ago. Out fished 100 other boats by a big margin. Great lures!

My fishing buddy caught his on on the 1/2 ounce version of the blugill pattern one. He broke it off later that day and searched for years to find another to stick in the mouth of the mount. Cool baits

Just a little update on my new cranking combo. I received my Dobyns rod today! I took it out to a local pond. I was just having fun casting a squarebill (not into cover, shallow 1-2.5 ft water). Lews BB1 pro reel casts so smooth and is so awesome so far. I ended up not catching any bass but had a CARP ATTACK MY SQUAREBILL. I was burning it as fast as I could so I could keep tuning in my reel for casting distance...I ended up hooking 1 carp and saw another attack it. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen a carp do.

My back ordered Dark Sleeper came in today. I can't wait to see if the smallies like it.

Stupid questions in 3...2....1. If you buy 4 packs of Berkley Power Worms in 2 separate purchases are they still eligible for the rebate? What if the purchase price is less than the rebate?

I’m in the same predicament. I submitted 4$ of baits for $10 back a couple weeks ago. I guess we will see! It doesn’t say anywhere on the rebate about purchase price, so they shouldn’t be able to deny it. I’d just make sure you’ve got everything documented just in case they say “ohh, well sorry you didn’t have everything in the envelope”. Which they do!

Just bought a Lowrance gen3 HDS7 with totalscan for $500, new in the box. A couple smithwick jerk baits and some strike king jigs. 

Couldn't resist picking these up for 1/2 price!

Grabbed a few things when I got off work yesterday. I replaced the 1/2oz breaking bream Project Z that I lost last Tuesday, picked up a 3/8oz black/blue Z-Man Elite chatterbait(lost the skirt on my other one), a pack of 3.75" green pumpkin Rage Swimmers, a pack of VMC 2/O weedless wacky hooks, a pack of Yum 5" chartreuse clear shad Break'N Shad and a pack of H2O Express 5/O heavy wire EWG offset hooks. Last Sunday I picked up a 1/2oz chartreuse sexy shad Project Z, 2 packs of size 2 Eagle Claw dual lock snaps and a pack of 6th Sense Peg-X Stoppers.

TW to the rescue!
