Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)

Finally got all of my Black Friday items ! Only thing I need is a 1/8 oz tube jig and I’m set for smallie season! The 3/8 are a little too big but lesson learned. Just use it for deep water.

I've been good all year keeping the bait monkey away, but its itchin again..

Stay tuned!

It's only been a month since I took my last paddle/cast in the canoe and I'm itching for some new tackle.

Parents always give me some money for Christmas, easier than picking gifts. Have to wait until then to scratch that itch.

I've got it in the 100mm size for smallies. I love the paint quality on these.

Holy wow! What do you do, use it as a club and beat them over the head with it? ?

I use the 97MR Slender Pointer a lot for smallies, it's a killer smallmouth bait.

It's a lot smaller than some baits I use. The big largemouth at the power plant lake eat big gizzard shad, lots in the 6-10 inch range, so big baits are what they prefer.

My favorite LC color.

Found this for 25% off. Since it's a 3 bank it looks like I'm going to have to upgrade to a 36v trolling motor now...

I have that charger. It’s the best purchase I’ve made so far for the boat.

Does anyone what the current Tackle Warehouse $5 discount code is?

I got a wild hair up my caboose in Walmart this afternoon and decided I’d get set up for some trout fishing.

2x Thomas Buoyant spoons, 1/4oz

2x Thomas Eel spoons, 1/8oz

2x Blue Fox Vibrax, #0

10x Blue Fox Flash, #1

2x Mepps Comet Minnow, #1

2x Mepps Aglia, #1 dressed

3x Panther Martin, 1/8oz

2x Rooster Tail, 1/8oz

8x Acme Kastmaster, 1/8oz

4x Strike King Bitsy Minnow, 1/8oz

20x Johnson Beetle Bou, 1/16oz

6x Johnson Beetle Spin, 1/4oz

3x Berkley Atomic Teasers, 1/32oz

3x Berkley Atomic Tubes, 1/32oz

Also picked up an extra pair of split ring pliers, some terminal tackle and a couple small Plano boxes.

So, uh...I guess now I should try to find a trout stream, huh? ??‍♂️

I have to admit the rat was a impulse.

I love that Spro Rat. I've got a 30 and a 40. The action and sound on it is just great. One of these days I'll actually catch something on it.

The bait monkey has been going nuts lately. Been buying the Herring color baits by the case.

@NorcalBassin, might I suggest the MK 440PC for all four our your marine batteries. I have been extremely pleased with this model when I replaced the stock Ranger unit in my boat. Oh, and it did pair nicely with a new Fortrex 112...

Thank you for the suggestion and if I had "only" 4 batteries heading in that's what I'd be doing. I have a 20ft v-hull and am not too concerned about weight, so I'm going to a 5 battery setup with 3 up front (when I make the move to 36v) and 2 in the back (1 for electronics, 1 for cranking). The 2 bank I'm replacing up front will go in the back. I'm running 70lbs right now and can't wait to get up to 112 like yours. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet setup. ?

I've been looking to get a swimbait rod for a while and patience finally payed off.

I picked up the DOBYNS FURY 7'9" MED-HEAVY SWIMBAIT CASTING ROD FR 795SB

I also bought  took a  RIVER2SEA WHOPPER PLOPPER 130 TOPWATER BAIT in rainbow trout to qualify for free shipping. The total price dropped by a buck and some change.

$91.81 shipped. I did upgrade to premium ground shipping for $3.95 hoping at least trained monkeys will handle the package.
