  • I was only one when the Dodgers moved to LA.  I understand my uncle got in a heap of trouble from my aunt over this picture of him and a movie star that appeared in in Life Magazine.   https

Mariners are playing some good ball right now. Rangers are ? the bed and the Astros have made up for their slow start. It’s a tight race in the AL West!

DL Hall is on his way to Baltimore as reinforcement for the bullpen, sources tell ARBT. Hall only appeared in one game for the Orioles in April, but since returning to AAA Norfolk from Florida has found his groove out of the bullpen.

Félix Bautista will go to IL with UCL injury

@throttleplate Maybe the worst loss we could have suffered. Not the end of the world, but losing a shutdown closer is a huge loss. Depending on the extent of the injury, Tommy John is likely in his future. I’m guessing we’ve seen the last of him this year.

Orioles rally past Rockies for 81st win, Cano gets the save.

Braves keep doing Braves things......Acuna Jr continues his assault on the history books

We're entering into the most magical time of year, Braves can be as dominant as they want, but they got to pray just like the others they capture that Fall magic.

The new MLB base path so that everyone is now on the same page.
He was ruled to be *in* the baseline, Gunner missed the tag and then threw to first base where that runner was ruled safe which he was.

Seems like not that long ago you were certain they were completely doomed, ah the wonders of sport

Astros (esp. Altuve) are on a roll. Just took over sole possession of first place in the AL West (sorry Glenn).

As an O’s fan, the ‘Stros are the one team I’d prefer to steer clear of until the ALCS. They are a proven ballclub and are getting hot when it counts.

Olson is on STRAIGHT FIRE!   He came out of Spring training with the most HRs IIrc.   Ozuna even hit a bomb lol.

Almost 5.5 months later and Olson is still on STRAIGHT FIRE......tying the Braves all time single season HR record of 51 with Andruw Jones.

Awesome to see a humble, NATURAL player achieve such an accomplishment.

Edit.....Acuna goes deep for number 37.     30/60 season club was special, but 40/70 will be one for the ages and record books.

O’s upcoming four-game  series with the Rays starting tomorrow is likely to decide the AL East champion. If both win today the Orioles will have a three-game lead heading into tomorrow’s opener.

Wire to wire Braves win the NL East tonight

Hope they catch the magic in October, the offense has ensured it being one of the most exciting Braves teams to watch in a long time.

This has been a fun ride. Officially clinched yesterday, and to do it in front of the booing Phillies fans was perfect.

Well the Minnesota Twins have officially won the worst division in baseball. Everyone here is drinking the kool aid now.

I remind them that they currently have the longest playoff losing streak in professional sports history and then reality sets in again.

Still, that's a big deal and fun to see!  Congrats.

My Mariners were ON FIRE earlier, but now they're realizing they might actually make the playoffs, and they're freaking out.  Now they forgot how to play baseball. They'll likely lose out and end up being another year of "almost".

Pitching is going to break the Brave's hearts, but tonight we celebrate one of the most exciting wins of the year, and the most historic accomplishment and season I've ever seen a player achieve by Ronald Acuna Jr.......40/70 CLUB

Again, 40/70 CLUB.......absolutely unreal, he's the most electric player in the history of ball imho.

The Baltimore Orioles, with their first 100-win season since 1980, have clinched the AL East Division! Have a shot at 102 to end the season!

Glenn, my sympathies. I was hoping the Mariners made the post-season as well.

Go O’s!!!!!

Happy to report that the longest playoff losing streak in major professional sports is now over at 18 games. The Twins recorded a home win over the Blue Jays in game 1 of the wild card round at Target Field, 3-1.

Three AL East ballclubs in the post-season. Only one remains. Tampa crapped the bed in the Trop and the Twins took it to Toronto. Always like the Twins. Had some good years decades ago when I was young and during the Kirby Puckett era.

Twins-Astros. Rangers-Astros. Going to be a good ALDS.

Congrats to the wildcard winners, but man that's the most unexciting, boring first round I can remember.

Hate to admit it, but I think the Phils are going to break the Braves hearts again, maybe next year we'll have the pitching staff to match the hitting.    Once again they are going in red hot, and the Braves are going in ice cold.
