I hit every Wal-Mart I drive by.Every one of them is completely different in what they carry.You never know when you'll find it.

For some reason the Bass Pro near me had 150yd spools of Seaguar Smackdown for 12.88. Needless to say I grabbed a couple. 

I was told that Tackle Warehouse usually has a sale of 15% in March and a rep said they usually do. I want to buy some stuff and don't want to miss the sale this time. I was just wondering if in March it probably will be?

In the past they have done a "tax stimulus" but I think that sale is in April 

They have also done a bassmaster classic sale in the past in March. It was never very big, more of a clearance type deal where they discounted a bunch of specific baits, rather than a site wide discount. The tax stimulus sale is the big one though, but it is in April.

The Memorial Day sale is also a big one. Since the Minnesota bass opener is this weekend, it's the one I wait for.

I'm looking to get a MK Ulterra. Would the March sale not be the one to get this at?

Any of their upcoming sales will not likely be more than 10-15% off. The only 20% off sale is Black Friday. 

Check Ebay too.  Often times you can do better than the TW discount.

I really don't know anything about that trolling motor I just did a brief search on what you wanted.  However, I can often find deals equal to or better than TW sales with free shipping also.  Make sure the seller has high ratings.

It's been different every year pretty much. Never the same date. If you google search "tacklewarehouse tax stimulus sale" you can see all the sales from the past years. Some were at the end of April, some at the beginning.

Man, that sale seems to cover a ton of stuff.  Currently have a tab open with a CR721 (for $191.25!) sitting in my cart.  It's low end is a little heavy for all the finesse stuff I want to do, but it is going to be a struggle to go to bed without hitting "Checkout".

Found a 7' MHF Halo Starlite casting rod at walmart with a broken tip maybe 1/2 inch down.It was 50$ retail,so i asked the manager to come down on the price since it was broken.He was reluctant but offered me the rod for 25$ i said i would give him 15 and he said 20 is the best he could do.I eventually declined not knowing a whole lot about the rod quality.I also found Super flukes on clearance for 1.88 and a Shimano FX2500 for 9.00 and assumed it was a low end junk reel so i didnt buy it.Should i have bought the Halo and re tipped it or is that Starlite line junk?
