To be fair, Pure Fishing didn't actually have that crazy sale. We had a member here (we're not worthy!) hand out crazy codes that I doubt were meant for the public.

It wasn't me but they sent me a code in an email.  I used it a few times during thier sale.

Bait Wrx has select Frittside's (sizes and colors) on sale for $4.74. At least they did as of last night.

If my memory serves me right and checking old emails....I made 7 purchases total. Four for myself,  one for a gift,  and two others for a fishing buddy. I used the code posted here first and they then sent me a coupon code for 50% off which I used a few times and was able to combine this with their buy 10 get 25% off , followed by another code, and finally an additional 30% off select sale items. For example,  I got jigs for $1.75 and most of thier crankbaits were around $3.50.

I was really dissapointed in the TW Black Friday sale this year. It was SO much better when it was 20% site wide like every other year. I wait all year for the 20% BF sale. I was fully prepared to bend over bigtime for the bait monkey this year, but I ended up buying nothing. Breaking up the sale makes it really hard to get to $50 for free shipping. It's also just a pain for people like me who dislike shopping. Oh well. A sign of the times I guess. I doubt the 20% sale will ever return.

I will say I received my “Black Friday” sales flyers from BPS/Cabelas and Blaine’s Farm Fleet and was totally disappointed when I went through them this morning over coffee ☹️

Agreed. For guys that are very particular about what we use the sales this year are pretty lame.

Ya - Fleet Farm doesn't have a lot of fishing stuff on sale tomorrow...and most of what it does have is for 'hard water'.

Yeah. But they seem to carry zero from Shimano. Hard pass.

You won't find Shimano, Daiwa or Okuma at Pure Fishing.....they own Abu, Pflueger, Ugly Stick, Penn, Fenwick, Mitchell, Shakespeare, and Van Staal...among some other brands...so that's what they carry.

Well that makes sense. I guess the next time I want an ugly stick or Mitchell I'll go there. LOL. What's the forecast on hell freezing over again???

@MN Fisher If I’m not mistaken you purchased your Daiwa CA80 last year during the Black Friday Sale. 

I don't remember exactly when I purchased it...I do know it was a good price.

@stratos4me Don’t poo poo the Revo lineup. There are some gems in there in my humble opinion including the Revo X winch which I happen to happily own alongside my Daiwa’s and Shimano’s😉

@MN Fisher I’m with you on not remembering when you posted the sale but I do remember it was Fleet Farm and also thinking at that price I was tempted as I had already been using mine which I bought at a great price from Amazon. Not sure how yours is holding up to punching/pitching but I’m still loving mine (6.3:1) for smaller swim jigs and I’m looking at upgrading the rod for it.

Works great for that...I actually prefer it to the Fuego CT-XS I had been using for pitching prior...the CT is now my frog/buzzbait reel.

@MN Fisher I will say I love the profile (smaller) than my tat ct but every time I think I need a new reel that dang Fuego CT at the prices they offer just seems to good to pass up. Hard to knock the Daiwa lineup in which I think we share a few reels in common. I’m also using my Tatula CT for frogs/buzzbaits.

I'm pretty sure it was $53. My son in law got one. He's very happy with it.
