Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

If anyone is looking to try a Daiwa Tatula SV, looks like the price keeps dropping. Only in RH retrieve though. I fish lefty

Is is there a Daiwa refresh coming soon? These reels just came out this year and they're already 40% off.

Thanks, I actually own that reel, bought it earlier this year for that price and love it. I just thought it was odd the newer Tatula SV is priced even lower than that CT Type-R. Wanted to try out a reel with the SV spool, maybe the Zillion SV's price will start dropping lol, wishful thinking.

@collards favorite site has 5.99 almost all Lucky Craft baits, including pointers, Sammy's , all of their cranks, etc.  Unbeatable for lucky craft stuff, but they are selling like proverbial hot cakes so get your orders in soon.

Stopped by Dicks last night to just kill some time.  Lucky Craft was on sale, 2 for $12.  Megabass - $5 off.  LiveTarget/Yo-Zuri crankbaits - 2/$10 or 3/$15 if I remember correctly.  The selection was not very good but seems to be the case at every DSG.

@EvanT123 The sale is over, I checked. We can't name them on here because they are not a sponsor of this site nor does this web retailer wish to be associated with any online fishing site at this time.  Try searching for $5.99 Lucky Craft baits...with a little Google knowledge you'll find them.

Keitech is having a sale on most baits in certain colors. 50% off. Directly from www.keitechusa.com

May only be in TX but they are also doing $10 off $50.  I picked up 12 total new 3xd's, 5xd's, and 6xd's a@ $3.56each out the door.  Pretty decent deal.

Its weird - when I walk through the local Dicks, I hardly ever buy anything - selection is usually unimpressive, but their online deals, and free shipping deals, I've probably mail ordered more from them in the last 3-4 months than any other seller.

Pretty much same for me.  Except GYB Senkos.  They always have my color and they are like $6.29/bag.  I'm sure they ship my crankbaits in like 6 different orders but I'll take it.

The DICK's here in Knoxville has 0 fishing department.  The academy sports has a decent selection and good prices, but DICK's has nothing in the store.  Just the usual apparel and golf stuff. :(

Well, there's always mail order.  As mentioned above, the fun thing is when you do something, like order 16 bags of various powerbait worms on the 4 for $10 deal.  You end up getting 6-8 different shipments, because I think they pull the order off of actual store's shelves, from wherever they have them in stock.  The bad thing, there's no ship to store option, to bypass shipping fees like other places have done.

Haha.   Yes,  I've experienced this with them a few times.   Good buys, but I get so confused when the delivery dates start arriving.

Yea I got mine in like 6 shipments as well.

Dicks is kind of weird, they don't specialize in fishing by any means but they have very solid deals pretty consistently, online and in certain stores.

Also I just bought a Lexa 300H. I looked freaking everywhere online for that specific model, couldn't find it and had two orders canceled due to no stock. I looked on pretty much every major fishing online store and they either didn't carry them or had no stock. Then I look at Dick's and they have it no issue.

DSG is soooo hit or miss.  I had two near my old house and one was huge and shiny- massive, massive space and aisles of...  oh wait it's all JUNK I didn't want.  They had a few things (line and terminal tackle etc) and were good for necessities but very little above the entry level gear which they carried every stitch on the planet of.  Staff there barely spoke full words and aside from being friendly were purely furniture.

The second store was way smaller and a little farther out but had the coolest staff- mostly an older gent who was obsessed with fishing like we are.  The selection was pretty darn good and what wasn't there he was adamant about being able to get sent in from elsewhere.  When the ".97" blowout clearance sales came he had all the best stuff, and even pulled a crucial off the rack once for me over the phone so I could come get it after work.

You just never know until you peel all the layers off the onion.  You could find one guy that makes it all worth it or you could be perpetually standing around waiting for Troy to saunter over from footwear to unlock a case so you can check something out for yourself.

Just North of Dallas, they just opened a dual store with the Field and Stream side handling the fishing, hunting & outdoor stuff. The other side is Dick's for the other sports. It is huge with one common check out in the center. The fishing department was pretty spectacular. Prices were very competitive. I hope they expand this concept.

just saw something about a keitech 50% off on this thread, couldn't find it though. looking to get a lot of swing impact fats. i bought about 20 packs this winter an I'm already out

Dick's dumped a bunch of inventory into the Kmart going out of business sale. I guess stuff they didnt want to discount so deeply at their store. I got a pair of Korkers wading boots (regularly $190-$200) for $18. The fishing stuff was pretty picked thru but they still had tents and camping gear. If you have a Kmart nearby its worth a walk thru.

FYI, Cabelas Tournament ZX baitcasting and spinning rods are on sale for $79 right now, usually $99. It's a great rod for $99 and an amazing rod for $79.

I usually wait for the $69, but with Bass Pro buying Cabelas who knows if they'll change vendors or if quality will go down, because of that I bought 2 ZX spinning rods and 1 baistcasting rod, leaving me with 2 spares of each.
