Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Love that reel. I bought the same one when it was ten dollars more, and I don't regret it. I put it on a Powell Diesel cranking rod, and I love the combo. Looks and feels like a match made in heaven!

just saw something about a keitech 50% off on this thread, couldn't find it though. looking to get a lot of swing impact fats. i bought about 20 packs this winter an I'm already out

I thought the same thing at first, but it's only on specific colors of each product. Look through the different sizes and colors and you'll see the ones that are half price. I found a few I like, but a lot of my favs are still full price. It would be well worth it if they had free shipping on a fifty dollar purchase or something...

sorry for not answering sooner, bu I have written before about medical problems. Well after only  fishing a few times, I  have to pull into the doc(k). I had another surgery last week and will need some more. The sad thing is that it is hard to even look at my lures. I am hoping to be able to walk some next year and my family will take me to the pond.  will keep up with lures and can't wait till I catch my next fish.

Hope you can get back to fishing soon, I can't imagine what it would be like to not be able to fish anymore.

Hang in there man!

Dicks flash sale on a few fishing items.  Used it to stock up on keitech crazy and noisy flappers - 2 for 5 dollars.  Deal valid till 10PM tonight.

I was going to post about it as well - usually the rod deals don't have much, but Lews Carbon Fire casting rods - 6-10" M/F, 7-0" MH/F, and 7-3" H/F - each for $38.99.  I've been looking for both 6-10ish M/F for jerkbaits and 7-3ish H for grass, so I grabbed one of each. You get $6 off the $16 shipping fee too.

Thanks for the heads up about the Dick's sale.... I went ahead and picked up a Berkeley Lightning Rod Casting Combo for about 50% off.  A $38 casting combo will be great for my kayak so I don't need a rod leash and won't be heartbroken if I lose it in the water.

sigh....I need to stop checking this thread

*goes and places order*

Of course the only logical thing to do was to buy 10 packs for 25 bucks to get free shipping lol. I usually don't cave on sales but when Dicks puts stuff on sale it's like 50% or in this case, 65% off.

I've never used them before so hopefully I like them lol. Although at that price I guess I could test out a pack and sell the rest. I did see a quick video on youtube before pulling the trigger and they do look really good on the fall.

I am in the same boat. I figured in a worst case scenario I could cut them down some and use them as jig trailers.  I have never been picky about what jig trailers I use as long as it beefs up the profile.

Yea I bought a few different sizes hoping to use some as trailers and some as T-rig baits. Also got some smaller size red ones to use on little football heads as a good craw imitation.

Thanks alot guys :D 10 packs kietech 2.8inch headed my way

Too bad I just ordered a bunch off Keitech's website before I saw this..paid $2.75 -$2.99/pack + $5 for shipping. Sucker:doh10:

The Keitech crazy flappers work *very* well for pitching flipping and dragging. Never tried it on the back of a jig.

Cabela's In KC had a bunch of Crazy Flappers for $2 a pack awhile back. Never fished them before but I bought about 20 packs for that price. Caught my biggest fish of the weekend on one this past week.

So I need to add that go my list of baits too..

My cabelas is in transition for the BPS takeover and is not restocking its inventory.  Shelves and pegs are barren.

Absolutely stinks. So glad a DSG is nearby.

I fish them weightless and also use them as trailers. Catch lots of fish on both presentations.

If you guys haven't done so yet I would suggest hitting up your local K-mart if they are one of the stores closing.

Snagged all of this for 4.50, about 80% off retail for the lot.
