which deal, the Dick's 4 for $10 powerbait deal?  Doesn't look like they're running it right now online - but the $10 rebate is good on purchases made until 9/2 - so check the site daily until then. 

 

 

My saga of missing the flash deal on the carbon fire rods took another turn yesterday.  Since the 7'3" heavy was out of stock when they ran it again, I settled for a Wright & McGill Skeet Reese 7'4" Fast (no power mentioned).  UPS pulled up yesterday with a rod tube that had been bent in half and retaped.  UPS driver had me open it while he was there - rod is in pieces, so he took it back.  I call Dicks customer service, and they told me I should have kept the rod and just taken it to my local store for return.  That doesn't jive with other experiences of accepting a visibly damaged package.  Anyway, she says it could be a couple of weeks before I see a refund now cause of how the return process flows.  Bah. 

 

Anyway, I ask her if I'm just out everything at this point, since the rod was on a flash sale, and even once refunded, I didn't get the rod I wanted at the price I wanted it.  She pulled some strings and got the OK to sell me a replacement for the $38 flash sale price.  Then I sweet talked her into selling me the Lews 7'3" Heavy instead since it was back in stock now. 

 

Here's hoping everything shows up in one piece this time.

Stopped by a Walmart out in Iowa while visiting familly...good call

 

They had Rage Tail Structure Bugs for 2 bucks a pack. I grabbed 4....and then the bait monkey tapped me on the shoulder and told me to buy 9....they only had 9. 

Just stopped at cabelas and got the storm arashi cranks for 1.99$. Reg 8.99 on sale for 2.99 and rang out at 1.99 each. Quite happy with the find! 

I wish my walmart was like that the best things I got were some sk tungsten and gammy hooks 

Pretty sure there is an Ebay sale 20% off 25$ and up. used twice per account. About to buy a lews and tatula will be back to share results.

I "had to" place an order too. The 10% donation is nice of them and I was glad to see it. I mainly needed to restock on some paddle tails for trailers and some owner safety caps, but grabbed a couple other things to try. 

 

...The Bait Monkey also just introduced me to spybaiting to get my order over 50 bucks

Wal-Mart in Attalla, AL had all their rage products $1 a pack.  I bought all they had.  30 packs.  Structure Bugs, Rage Craws, Space Monkeys.  In basic colors.  Green Pumpkin, Blk Blue Flk, Watermelon Red.  

 

They were on the clearance row in a big bin on the bottom shelf along with Z-Man Chatterbaits for $1

Lol so I guess the one I stopped at wasn't the only one. I wonder why they are doing that. It's not like Rage products are unpopular and wouldn't sell normally. The ones I bought even had their own display box and were still discounted 65%. 

My walmart had PowerBait on clearance but the trout bait in the jar we have nothing good at mine anymore might have to branch out to other ones

I got a new tatula SV and really like it. The only con to me is that it does not hold a lot of line. But, I'm using it specifically for skipping under docks so I don't need much.  

I just bought 2 daiwa tatula ct's for $70 shipped a piece from academy.
