tragic news for my family

Featured Replies

Hey all, I've been absent the past couple days and wanted to post on here for advice and just to vent and fill people in.

Yesterday, (1/12) my wife, Amy Webb, passed away in her sleep. She was 37 years old, a fantastic mother to 2, Braden (10) and Madison (7). She was a special education teacher who was passionate a out her job and her students. They became a part of our extended family. This comes as a complete shock to us and has been a whirlwind of emotions, responsibilities and needs. I can't fathom why it was her time or what comes next for us, but we are forced to move in with my parents to get situated and figure out the next step. It will offer us a solid footing upon which to build our foundation.

Sorry to bring a negative post like this on here, but I needed to get some things out in a neutral and friendly place. Thank you for reading this.

My sincere condolences Andy. I hope you can find peace moving forward for you and your family.

That's terrible, I can't imagine. I will pray for you and your family man.

Idk what you may or may not believe in but I have faith that just as Christ died and was raised to life again, so too the believers who have died will be raised as well.

Sudden loss is horrible to say the least...hopefully you will find some peace in the memories.  God says he won't give us more than we can handle....but gosh...sometimes he seems to stretch it a bit.  Anyway....may you find peace.

So sorry to read the sad news.

She was way too young to leave us.

Hang in there the best you can for the kids.

Sorry for your loss.  Condolences to you and your family.

Andy,

My deepest condolences. Only time can heal a huge loss like that. I hope you take comfort in knowing that life and your state of mind will normalize after the rough road ahead. I am glad you are stable at your parent's home, you can devote a lot of energy to helping your children get through. Stay strong, Andy.

You know you have friends here if you need something, even if it's just someone to talk to. So sorry again Andy.

I can't fathom your pain...I can only hope for the best

outcome from this situation. To lose a wife and mother

so young is ... beyond painful.

My only relation is that my wife lost her father to a brain

tumor at 42. He left behind a wife and 4 daughters.

Peace will come, my friend. Maybe not for a while, but you

and your children will live on. Be strong as you can for them.

There are no words to describe the pain you are going through, I hope everything in the future gets better for you and your children.

I'll keep you in my thoughts Andy.

If you find time maybe you can tell us a story about her, or how you met.
