Someone's not getting much work done over the holidays. This is great. 

Finished out 2018 with a hike across the lake to see if we could find some trout ( couple hits but that’s it, still a nice day on the lake), then topped it off with some construction ( LEGO Hogwarts castle).

I'll be working tonight, everyone stay safe. Remember there's lots of options, there's no excuse for getting behind the wheel even after the standard "2 beers". Don't make a decision that could forever change someone's life.

It’s very beautiful, but at -10C with a nasty windchill, and supposed to drop to -21C tonight, I’d rather see the beauty of green grass and Lilly pads about now. Time to go snowblow the driveway ?. 

Sams club had fresh turkeys on sale yesterday, so I fired up the smoker today.

One more round in the smoker. This time it was Venison Polska Kielbasa.

I am having fishing withdrawal. Supposed to be fairly nice Friday, and I have a few free hours.

I've been driving Chevy trucks for 20+ years. First one was a WT-1500 that ran 18 years before an accident that totaled it. New one is a Silverado Extended Cab that's been solid for the three years I've had it so far.

This is Rocinante.  2010 Sierra.  Over 150k miles, still running strong.

 

This is my new baby - 2001, had 197k when I bought it three years ago. Still runs like a champ.

mmmmmm…….just ate the last of the left over kielbasa now I'm wanting more. Gonna stop by the old Polish meat shop for another 10 pounds.

I drove Fords up until three years ago. My 2015 Chevy has a layer of ice and snow on her this morning and she still looks good. I won't be going back to Ford.

Got me a new toy for the new year.
