Guys, the response for this has been great this year. We're up to 46 guys so far and still a few weeks to go. I look forward to everything this season will bring.

I didn't know we had to declare countries. In that case, I'm all for Australia. Nothing wrong with a country where if the snakes, spiders and kangaroos don't kill ya, the birds that can't fly will.

Ok so my first year ever doing this but have played other fantasy sports, my question is does your team change for each event or do you basically pick your anglers for the year?

I'm in as well.  Pretty much picking Fletcher Shryock each week for my lineup.  I've watched 2 seasons of MLF so far and watched him clean up when a lot of the competition couldn't even get bites on their own home water.

 

What about the FLW league - anyone in that one too? Scott Martin is a value pick for their first event on Okeechobee.

I know a few of the guys play FLW, but we don't have a group on there. I know they run their league a little different. Giving users "fake money" and putting a price tag on each angler.

I joined it this year . I recognize very few names . I jumped all over Scott Martin when I saw his low buying price fishing his home lake . I dont understand how they rate the anglers over their yet .

do you guys follow what they say in the articles for each tournie, or go by your own judgement and knowledge?

I keep asking my co workers if they have been doing their research for their fantasy fishing team, I keep telling them the first event is getting close...they just look at me like I'm nuts, I don't think they believe its real.

I dont . Last year I pretty much picked my favorite anglers and did pretty bad . This year there will be a reason for each one picked but I'm not going to research much .

yea im still a rookie at the fantasy fishing, i usually forget about it when fishing seasons come around but thats after i do crappie. i follow the advice giving but i still am not to confident on who to pick. 

when do these articles start popping up?  I've read here, or in last year's thread, about the pundit's picks.  I assume that's straight on the fantasy site, but haven't seen anything there just yet.
