I have one more question involving the tie breaker. What's an example of a reasonable guesstimation for a total weight for an event? Not asking what y'all put for yours. I've never done this before and I don't want to guess too high or too low.

Usually between 55 and 95 pounds. This one will be on the lower end of the spectrum.

Keep this on the down low, but rumor has it that Glenn is negotiating with Pan Am to provide the winner with air fare for a LMB fishing trip in Alaska, with George Perry as the featured guide...

The joy of the fantasy fishing is you can pick whoever you want. It's your fantasy. Live it.    If you want to pick your favorite angler from each bucket because you like their personality o

Being new to this I have a few questions. Are these tournaments televised? If so, what channel? Otherwise, how do I keep up with the stats?

The bassmaster website has live coverage Fri-Sun. They put cameras in the 6 boats that are leading and rotate the action between them. My favorite thing to watch. Even when I'm fishing i'll have the coverage on and listen thru my headphones.

:Looks like a Bama lineup ;)

Tick, Tock...

Less than 48 hours to go.

I hemmed, I hawed, I swapped some in, swapped some out, but I think I'm all set.

In the end, my team is.....well, not the most risky or insightful choices, i must say, but I'm happy with them.

Hoping for an uneventful Friday morning so I can put Bassmaster Live on in my office at work.

It is very cold here. And there is much snow.

I'm in!  Had a pretty good run last year until the end.....Can't wait for the season to start!

Just wait until this weekend and we get severely dumped on with snow. Possibility of up to 14" over the next 4 days.

Been struggling with my team for a week now. Made a few swaps and I'll check in tonight before I go to sleep. Might change things up a bit. Anybody know if they'll be running the internet coverage of this event?

According to Bassmaster.com says Live starts at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

I'm sticking with my original team . Bucket A and B my anglers have less than 1 per cent ownership .

So do our lineups change from tournament to tournament or do they stay locked in all season?

They change after each tournament. If you forget to set your lineup get a big goose egg for the tournament.

Got it, thanks.

They do have bass track where estimated weight is phoned in and highly inaccurate .

My contacts were a little blurry, I now see that the 8 is now a 9. Lol

Where can you view that at?

Yeah I'm ready. Made a few swaps in my lineup the other day. I'm pretty satisfied with my team for now. Hope I'm able to watch some of it on my phone. Good luck everyone! ?

Same here.  Usually, I try to avoid the "This is a home lake for this guy, so he should know what's up" thought process, but there's so many Alabama anglers that it is pretty hard to not pick guys from there.

I'm sticking with Fletcher Schryock for the early part of the season - just like something about the way he doesn't get locked into one technique or type of situation he's looking for.

Lee/Howell/Schryock/Horton/Strader - although I was really tempted to swap Bobby Lane in after he had such a good tournament last week.

My team:

A - Jacob Wheeler

B - Jesse Wiggins
C - Mike McClelland

D - Alton Jones Jr.

E - Boyd Duckett

My Wife's team:

A - Ott Defoe

B - Mike Iaconelli

C - Paul Mueller
D - Brian Snowden
E - Wesley Strader

I got:

Wheeler: one of the best anglers in the world, fished out of his mind last year and low ownership.

Jaye: local stick, grew up fishing Martin

Tharp: Loves jig fishing, came out swinging with a jig for the season opener last year on Cherokee when everyone else was fishing the little fluke rig.

Vinson: Also grew up fishing Martin

Shryock: I'm really stoked to see Hunter join his brother on the elites, one of my favorite anglers. He's really good; we'll see how he does against the most stacked field in the world.

Not my usual lineup but we'll see how it goes. It's far too early in the day to be worrying about the basstrakk standings.

My guys to watch out for/almost picked were:

McClelland, Kriet, Hank Cherry, Steve Kennedy and Dave Lefebre.

Joined, but late. I'll have to sit this one out. Nothing like starting out from behind ;)

Says you!  Takahiro's leading the tournament right now, so at least for the time being, I'm getting some enjoyment out of this.
