14 Days & a Wake Up ~

I fished El Salto about 18 years ago and it was insane. We only fished one day (it was an impulse fishing trip during a different vacation) and it got to the point where if you reeled in without a fish it seemed weird. Average fish was about 4# and we got quite a few in the 8-10 range. I'd love to go back, have fun and stay safe!

I was hoping to see photos and epic tales of the South of the Border Hawg Fest 2018.... then realized it hasn’t happened yet. Safe travels and great fishing @A-Jay to you and your group!

This time next week I should be on the first day of travel and air born a couple hours outside of Dallas Fort Worth.

And I also hope to get a few good ones to post up.

2 Days & a Wake ~ 

Oh, and did I mention it's snowing . . .

Where are you taking off from TC? 

No snow here, mid 40's and day three of wind. Gale warnings on the big lake along with 6-8 footers the past two days. 

Wx on Saturday departure day is cold rain / snow moderate winds.

 Then it's TVC thru ORD to DFW.

Stay overnight Marriot DFW

Then Private Air to the lodge next morning with one stop mid-flight in Mexico for fuel & to clear customs.

Getting a little twitchy . . .

Stay away from the hurricane 

Uh oh! I haven't watched the news/weather in a few days. Is there one heading his way? 

Hurricane Willa. Headed to hit Mexico tomorrow.

It's projected to hit land 250 miles south of A Jay

Poor A-Jay, can't escape those hurricanes.

By the looks of the facebook pics, A-jay and the boys seem to be faring just fine

Back in the States on the last leg of my travel.  Hurricane was not an issue. The trip and the especially the fishing was well beyond anything I could have hoped for.  Still hard to believe.  The numbers, weights, pics and some Insane Video is all coming in a few days.
