  • This pic is actually from the first morning of the storm.    It's Lynn's crew on the way out the inlet in Scituate, MA. These surf boats, although no longer in service, were self-right

  • If we had that weather, there would be no milk available in the entire state

It's colder in my truck right now -

Than in your freezer.

I’ve just been shaking my head at this for a while. I have to guess you don’t think you really get used to it, just a matter of dealing with it. I know the rest of the year it’s worth it. I mean I’ve seen how good the fishing is from watching MLF tourneys and videos from Lake Menderchuck. It’s been 40° to start the morning here, topping out around 70° in the afternoon which isn’t really normal. Spring Training has started and hopefully with it the promise of better fishing. Be safe guys

Can't speak for everyone but, I get used to it.

At this point in the winter, it's not really 'cold' unless it's in the single digits or less.

If there's little to no wind and some sun - 20 degrees is 'nice out'.

I’m with @A-Jay as long as there’s no wind and above zero it’s not too bad out especially if the sun is out (which rarely happens in the winter). It could be 40 and breezy/windy and I’m cold.

Well east of me. Usually it comes from Lake Michigan and the east side of the state gets nothing, so they can have that crap for once.

Guaranteed snow this week. Tarps are off the boat and batteries installed. Will probably get 24"

I'm wondering if this year will be like last year.  Spring lasted a whole 3 weeks before we went into summer.

Better you than us - we're having actual melting going on here...well, not today - but we've lost a couple inches of snow-pack this past week...and more warmth (40+) coming.

The Winter Weather Warning attached to this one indicates we should expect something closer to 9 inches or more.

The cold air & high winds make for a fine time for all involved.

I'm off to get the milk & bread now . . . .

Lots of 30's and 40's in our forecast here in Minnesota.  Spring is on its way!

And since 'permanent' ice-houses have to be off the lake by Sunday - Minnetonka can thaw out any-time now.

Come on 'Tonka - I WANT ICE-OUT.

What was your prediction last fall for spring 2020 ice out again?  Mine was April 15.
