I ordered some Huddleston Swimbaits before Christmas and Tackle Warehouse still says they are on back order.  I am, of course, in no hurry but would like to see the order get shipped since it was placed 2 months ago.  

 

This will be my first go at using the bigger swimbaits and I am just overly excited.  I just wish they would get here. 

 

Anyone else dealing with this issue?

 

 

I'm still waiting on two items from my Black Friday TW order...one says "It's in", the other says the 24th of this month.

I had huddlestons on BO for 14 months from TW.  I ended up buying them through another source.  

This is the response I received from Hudd baits inquiring about why it took so long from TW.

 

Hi Paul,

 

I am sorry you are having a delay in getting your order. Tackle Warehouse has open PO's with us being made and filled it is a slow process. We are a small custom bait company all of our baits are 100% custom made and hand painted in the USA not mass produced in another country. We have many retailers waiting on orders as for a ETA I can't give you that because I don't know to be honest I am at the mercy of production.

Savage Gear 4D Pulse Tail trout is almost as good, way cheaper, and much easier to get. I won't bother with the Hudd run around anymore.

Been waiting on my 68's for what seems like forever. Hopefully I get mine Feb 3rd..

Buy em somewhere else and cancel your order. You're probably at least number 1,289,837 on the list. You might get em in the mail sometime in 2025. 

MS Slammers on back order from TW for well over a year. Making my own homemade Slammer. 

Hudds and Slammers can be found easily.There is no shortage of baits.TW is not the answer to buying big baits.Plenty of places have them in stock.

^^^ yep what he said. There’s plenty out there for slammers and hudds. I have no issue in getting them. I just bought my 20th slammer a few days ago, and almost pulling the trigger on some hudds

Love the Slammer.My go-to night bait.Latest find was a new 10.5" in White.Got a 9" Bass DC coming tomorrow.

I have at least a half a dozen things on back order from black friday.  I especially want the DD Tactical crankbait!

You might be lucky that you haven’t got your yet. I lost 2 already this year.

Hell ya that’s awesome!! My favorite night bait. My PB 7.8 was on a x2 in June in the afternoon. They get bit allllll day!!!’  I just bought a flat side 9! Super pumped. My first flat side.

Huddleston is a joke. Honestly, if it weren't for their Grass Minnows and Weedless Shad, I'd have no need to use anything from them. If you want to stir the pot, ask about the Hudd Walker that Ken took a preorder on several years ago and none have surfaced. It is excuse after excuse from them.

Good baits but I wouldn’t buy from his site. That whole thing was bad.

And Savage Gear just came out with a couple baits to challenge those little weedless baits. I loved the weedless shads, but the price and how fragile they are finally overtook my love for them.

I still think the 68 and 8 inch trout are some of the best soft baits on the market but they have awful customer service. The hudd walker thing was sad to see watch, I didn't order one but the guys that did kept getting beat around the bush.
