One good thing, if you dropped it overboard, you could likely see it in 100’ of water to snag it back up ( if you actually wanted it back up?).

I’d like to pick one of these up if the price isn’t too steep.. Sure the color is odd but only 1000 made? That’s pretty cool if you ask me. Plus Okuma makes quality gear, worth a shot.

Specs look good. Killer colors for the south Florida area.

Ridiculous

The colors are a bit bright but if it is built well then that is what truly matters.

I don't know if Okuma is still a sponsor, but you better shut this thread down if it is.  This could be the brainchild of one of the executives, and  he may think that color scheme is great.  With the folks that contribute to this thread, the hits are gonna keep coming.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity! Lol

They visited the land of misfit toys, didnt they?

This is what you call "trying too hard". That thing could could cast 500 yards and I still would buy it. Yikes.

My grandkids, who are 5 and 3 would probably love this one. Makes my reels look pretty boring.

I like bright colors. I'd use it...if it wasn't an Okuma..

You never know. In a few years we might all be fishing with one like this. Except with some glitter and sequins on it too

I guess it comes with one of these lolimage.thumb.jpeg.b5fca2ed628f207fdb7684994fa2c5bc.jpeg

The reel has pretty solid specs, but I personally am turned off by the loud colors. I don't know what it is, but I can't stand super bright colors on fishing gear. I'm sure a lot of them will end up in people's display cases given the limited production numbers.

The question nobody has asked, how much will the Lego reel cost?

Because no one is interested in buying it. LOL

Excellent engineering doesn’t require a gimmick

Ding! Ding! Ding!  You get it.

It's a collectors' item.  More artwork than workhorse.  They even mention artisans in the description.

Obviously it's not for everyone. But like most art, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Hmm ...  Take THAT, Googan Squad!!!

Yep, they are a sponsor. But as I've said many times before, and I'll iterate again here, sponsors have NO SAY over what I do with this site.  They have no control over this forum.

They'll just have to take the lumps with the sugar.  :)
